I voted 6 not because I don’t really trust Donnie, but because, as I said earlier, he’s got an extremely difficult set of tasks to complete.
That said, I trust Donnie more than I would trust most others.
I gave Donnie a 7, for “cautiously optimistic”. I agree he has a daunting task ahead of him, and it’s nearly impossible to address every issue this team has, but I think Donnie will try his hardest to improve this team over the next two summers.
I gave him an 8.
I wanted Gallinari. Full court vision like Kidd. Leadership like Duncan. Point forward like Bird. The kid is either can’t miss, or the biggest bust in NBA history.
Chris Duhon, high on the list of FA PG. I bleed Durham Blue, so I love the idea.
I’m not happy about having to lose Lee, but I understand.
