Poll: Ewing Jr. and a second rounder, or Balkman
When you look at the Balkman trade, where he was traded for guard Taurean Green, forward Bobby Jones and a second-round draft pick in 2010, followed by the Ewing Jr. for Fred Weis deal, Walsh essentially traded Balkman for Ewing and a second rounder.
If you care to look at it that way. I look at it as bringing in a player who has a few years to develop for a player who was on his way out anyway, with a second rounder thrown in.
