Their View on the Knicks: Where’s the Respect?
According to Scott Carefoot at RaptorBlog.com, the Knicks will be the worst team in the Atlantic division
this upcoming season. Scott claims,
“…It’s not that I think Mike D’Antoni isn’t a good coach. The problem is that this is the worst roster in the NBA for him to use his full-speed-ahead philosophy. I will say this, though: If these Knicks even make the playoffs, then D’Antoni deserves the Coach of the Year award. In reality, it’s more likely that Stephon Marbury will hold his teammates hostage in Madison Square Garden at some point during the season and Spike Lee will have to be the negotiator…”
Well, at this point, should the Knicks and their fans expect anything less from outsiders? Let’s face it, the Knicks do not warrant respect at this point. Respect must be earned, not taken as charity. Tonight, the Knicks will begin to earn back that respect.
Check out the comments under this post. Raptors fans don’t seem to think too highly of our team either. So be it.
