The Morning After

A Patrick Ewing Jr. sighting made the night for me and my scout’s eye was validated by his put back flush on Big Baby.

As you know I’ve been on Ewing Jr’s bandwagon for a while and I know what you’re thinking, “he’s not as good as Balkman!”

At this point no, but his pull up jumper off the bat was very impressive (it wasn’t a walk, it was a jab step!) and his overall skill set gives him a better ceiling than Balkman in both my opinion and the opinion of Donnie Walsh.

Alvino texted me from the TD Garden during warm ups and he was raving about Ewing’s athleticism. Ewing needs time but he definitely has a future here.

Game notes:
Another solid game for Chris Duhon, yes he can play a game without a turnover…Despite scoring only 5 points, Wilson Chandler‘s blocks were a huge impact on the game…ZBo and Nate were the team’s best players.

The Knicks return to action Monday at New Jersey.
