Steph to Start
According to Frank Isola, Stephon Marbury will join Chris Duhon in the starting lineup tonight at the 2. Isola reports that Mike D’Antoni has not been happy with Jamal Crawford’s failure to assimilate into his pass-first offense being that Crawford finds his shot most successfully off the dribble.
This appears on its face to be a temporary move, but we’ve all seen Crawford’s inability to defend on the perimeter, and now comes an apparent unhappiness with his lack of shots in D’Antoni’s system. If this combination works it could be more long-term than we think, and with Nate Robinson‘s success off the bench, could it mean a bench role for Crawford?
