Well, Cleveland is making their case early in the season aren’t they?
What’s most impressive for this Cavs group is that they can compete and excel with Lebron on the bench. But the Knicks right now don’t have the manpower to compete back-to-back nights and then throw in the travel, you could smell this one coming.
Right now at 15-3 the Cavs are cruising and it looks early on that a Kobe-Lebron Finals is in the works. But we have plenty of time to talk about that. Every player on the Cavs roster scored and not one played 30 minutes. There’s something to be said for some depth.
David Lee is shot, if Chris Duhon were a catcher he’d be getting a day off, and Wilson Chandler has hit the wall. They need help.
So don’t freek out, this one is an easy one to get past, but the key here is not to lose 3 games in a row. Good teams figure a way to stop losing streaks.
Al Harrington had a strong opening quarter with 13 then faded finishing with 20. Lee had a square game 16 and 16 and Anthony Roberson finished with 19.
The King had a real easy 21, 6 and 5 with no turnovers, and avoided disaster after a hard foul from Harrington in the 2nd half. After the game Harrington showed some class by going to Lebron first thing and seeing if he was okay, which James appreciated.
There’s simply nothing about him that is hard to like.
