Anyone who wears their headband the way Williams does should start the game w a dress code foul. Seriously i dont understand how that thing stays on his head. And all it does is make him look like to buffoon that his checkered past already says he is. On a positive note, i am more happy watching knicks games this year than any of the last ten, and its simply because they compete. Its really an amazing thing when a bunch of guys work hard and actually care bout winning, their teammates and the fans too. Through 20+ games, thank you knicks for making nba fun again for me.

BTW, 1050 just reported Cat Mobley will announce his retirement tomorrow in a press conference. Roster spot opened...

"Guard Cuttino Mobley is expected to retire because of a heart condition, 1050 ESPNRadio in New York has learned. An official announcement is expected Wednesday night."

Has it been announced? I don't see it.

Yes. Pumping both fists right now. "Yes" Trust "the Don". And hopefully he is "the last don". As in "can he be our GM forever?:" Quick question. Who would you rather have Al Harrington, Jamal Crawford or Othella Harrington. Talk amongst yourselves.

Knicks fans, arent you happy we didnt give Nate for Sean Williams? 4 fouls in 5 minutes? He can stay in Jersey thank you, even with his height and shot blocking.

HUGE SHOT by Willy Chandles. Pulling an LJ that really opens the game up and gives the Knicks some breathing room.

Harrington going to the line again. Unbelievable game from him. 36 points, 14/14 from the line. Knicks have gotten to the line I think 8 times so far and it's only 5 minutes into the 4th.

Devin Harris still looks incredible though, thank god he's in foul trouble or this game would look different.

38 points for big Al. 2 away from his career high. And to think when Jamal put 40 up in Golden State, I was thinking damn, thats what the Knicks will miss. A guy with the ability to put up big points when needed.

Al is just everywhere tonight.

Also, just want to say, in the praise for Thomas and Harrington, Willy Chandles has a very quiet 18 and 9.

I dont know if it's necessary to have a seperate topic for comments, but really anything to encourage TKBers to talk about the game is much appreciated.

I gotta say, Harrington is really impressing me tonight. 24 points through 3 quarters, and it seems like he is improving upon some of the criticisms we had about his game.

In the other post I mentioned he posted up once or twice, which is very welcome as without Zach we have no one who plays with their back to the basket.

And on the last play of the 3rd, Al controls the ball pretty much the whole time, drives to the lane does a spin post move, and then when we are accustomed to him putting up a shot with a hand in his face, he dishes it out to an open Tim Thomas for three which results in a putback.

HUGE 3rd quarter for the Knicks, outscoring the Nets 33-21. We've gotten 20 free throws so far, lets see how we do in the fourth. Big quarter for the boys in blue. Hopefully the Knicks faithful in Jersey can help give them some energy. Duey has gotten 7 minutes of rest so far which is a nice plus as well.

Also, props to Tim Thomas. For all his faults and unreached potential, he is an excellent 7th or 8th man.
