Marc Berman did a nice job this morning of keeping us up to speed with Cuttino Mobley’s roster spot. To read his article, click here.
To summarize, there is no roster spot open yet. Mobley is still technically on the Knick roster, as there has not been a decision made on his retirement. Therefore, Walsh cannot make a two-for-one deal quite yet. Interestingly, Berman states that Walsh can trade this DPE if it is granted to the Knicks. That can create some interesting options for the Knicks.
