Al Harrington was on a mission tonight.  David Lee was a beast offensively and on the boards (when is he not?).  The Knicks won again.  21-25 heading into a big, big week.

Al Harrington dropped 31 points, and Lee added 23 points and 17 rebounds.  When a player grabs 17 rebounds, you generally raise an eye brow.  But when Lee does it, I barely even think twice about it.  He has games like that so often that it is no longer surprising to see 17 total rebounds next to his name.  Quentin Richardson had a good night from beyond the arc, nailing 5 triples.

This team has a big week coming up with the Lakers, Cavs and Celtics coming to the Garden to take on the surging Knicks.  Truthfully, I would love to take 2 of 3, but I will accept one of those three.  This team is clicking right now, so I would not be surprised to see this team win at least two.

Jared Jeffries left in the first with a bruised thigh and did not return.  Another injury for the Knicks… what else is new?  We will keep you posted on that situation.

Big win for the Knicks.  There are no moral victories at this point, and games like tonight are ones that this team must win if they are serious about a playoff push.

This is really amazing. Im just glad to be winning games and not just seeing losses every night.(obviously) I liked the players the past few years and now its coming together. We just need to keep improving until 2010. Also I may add that Donnie Walsh and Mike D were perfect for this teams needs. They will get it done. David Lee is a beast and if we can get him signed without hindering our shot at getting 2 big free agents Im all for it. He would be a perfect piece to a championship team.

It been some time now that the Knicks have played like a team. The last trend that ended as a flash in the pan (like so many of the others) which gave me hope was the January 06′ when they won 6 in a row. Yes, they were only 13-21 at the end of it, but the short lived success fed my craving for the hope of the Knicks.

Since the end of that 2001-2002, with the Knicks dropping 18 wins the next season, too many retreads came through this system such as a Lavor Postell, or Lee Nailon, and even yes, the Michael Doleac.

But this team now has players with roles. It is clear Mike D’Antoni is the coach and the players are the players. D’Antoni isn’t starting players just because they are playing in that player’s hometown.

I am just happy to see the team taking pride in smart play and forbidding lackadaisical efforts.

Its been a long seven years but Walsh and company are building the tracks that will allow NY to see the end of the tunnel.

    When will the Bucks lose?

When Donnie Walsh hired D’Antoni I was like “he’s really serious”, I knew D’Antoni was the right choice.

We have what it takes to win two games next week, and I believe that Gallinari will have a good game in one of those games.

I have no doubt in my mind that the Knicks are going to make the playoffs. Yesterdays game I thought was a huge game. This could of easily been a let down game. There past wins have come at home and they had to prove that they can go on the road and beat the team that they should beat. I think the Knicks will beat the Lakers and Cavs. The Knicks almost beat the Lakers at Staples Center and the way the Knicks are playing right now, I think they will win that game.

The team is playing better, but it’s better than 50-50 we get swept this week. There’s no way around the bloodshed. The Celtics are especially motivated to crush us after we beat them last time.
