On the bright side, the Knicks are actually using their roster slots to audition players. Who knows if any of the D-leaguers will work out but I like that they’re trying. Hell, every year some one comes out of nowhere to prove they’re worth some minutes, perhaps the Knicks will get lucky. It sure is easier on the cap than signing FA’s who have hit their ceiling.

Anyone have a sense of whether there’s some kind of bias towards a certain type of player being more likely to make it? INOWs, historically, have big men done better than PGs or Swing men? Or is it more about opportunity and luck?

He had some savage games in the D League this year. Absolute monstrous games.

The one game I saw Samb play was atrocious. I’d rather have given Sene the shot over Samb.

I am curious to see Sims. TD has been mentioning Sims for a long time now.

interesting signing. How does a player like Sims not even get drafted though?

I read he is slow footed but at least he is in game shape. I remember him at Michigan as a decent player.
