oh…and for those talking butler and pick swapping ect…..

Wizards are pretty much way over the cap with Jamison and Arenas. Caron and Stevenson expire in 2011

They are not going to draft Rubio and probably would love to have more cap space instead of Rubio backing up Agent Zero

The post was about a potential plan B, that would be to use the expiring contracts to get good players, with bad contracts, that would help our young studs to blossom, and also to get additionnal draft picks.

So yes I’m willing to take Calderon, who is a good PG, and I’m willing to take Jaric, Gadzuric or Posey if a pick is included in the deal.

The go-to guys would be Gallo, Chandler, this year’s pick or even lil’ Nate. I’m not ready to give up on Robinson yet.

What would be your plan B Chris ??

I wouldn’t give him a penny. He’s 30 years old and his team ended the season with the worst record in the Eastern Conference. And he had Antawn Jamison. I mean, I like Caron Butler, I really do, but he’s not young/good enough to sacrifice the whole plan.

The only 30 years old player I would make a move for is Kobe Bryant. That’s it.

if the clippers land the second pick… does anyone think that they would be inclined to trade it assuming blake is gone and they already have their pg for the next four years who is completely untradable… do you think they would try to use the pick to unload some of their big contracts??? also, if your the knicks would you take on a big contract to land rubio…. i would.
