Chandler Surgery Successful
According to RealGM, Wilson Chandler‘s surgery went well.
“Wilson Chandler underwent surgery to remove bone spurs in his left ankle on Wednesday.
The Knicks’ first round pick in 2008, who just completed his second season, started experiencing pain in the ankle toward the end of the season and after a brief stint of rehabilitation, surgery was required to clear the issue.”
I’ve never heard of an unsuccessful surgery, but I am definitely all supportive of Wilson going into next season at 100%. He finished this season like a beast, and he showed he can be an all around player. He’s one of my breakout players for the 2009-10 season, not just for the Knicks, but throughout the league, and I think he is starting to get some recognition around the league as an up and coming player.
