So many emotions hitting me today based on 1994 and the fact that I had my bachelor party last night were my friends and I gathered for a serious good time. The great thing about friends is that they make life timeless. For several hours you can reconnect as if you never left the great memories behind.

When the Rangers won the Cup it was exhausting and there was a serious weight off the shoulders of NY. But for those who wanted more, Game 7 awaited in Houston and for the first time that year it was just the Knicks.

The Knicks played a poor game throughout and couldn’t muster up the offense to take a lead and put the Rockets away. The Rockets weren’t great that night either, which added to the frustration.

I remember being upset when the game was over. I hated Sam Cassell, Robert Horry and Otis Thorpe and could bear to watch them celebrate.The countless times losing to Jordan made me feel like we earned one. But it didn’t happen.

But still, 94 was some run…and 15 years later I haven’t forgotten a thing.

And I never will.
