Return of Oak??

Via the NY Post:

“…Meanwhile, Charles Oakley is under consideration by Walsh to help big men get down and dirty at the defensive end. Does that mean the Knicks president is unhappy with how easy and how often opponents scored last season? My second question is, how do you teach bringing intimidation and intensity to work every time you get on the court? Oakley also was contacted by Portland officials who suspect it might be good for the team’s health if a trace of his brutish attitude rubbed off on Greg Oden…”

OAK.yes please come teach Lee and possibly Gortat some moves because they do mean hire Oak as a coach right?

  • Laydenstinks

If they hire this guy, get him on a plane to chi-town to work as a drill sergeant for Eddy Curry.

If big money, booing from the home crowd and being a waste of talent isn’t enough to motivate Curry…Maybe Oak in his grill would do the trick.

Oakley worked on some no name D-III guy named Ben Wallace… don’t see why he can’t help a little bit with out big men.
