HAHAHAHA, all right, you should stop talking now. Brandon Jennings? Are you serious? Did you hear that he said “f-you” to the knicks and rubio and said that duhon can’t get it done in NY? He’s the next stephon marbury meanwhile you’re campaigning for him. Just stop dude. I was talking about a first rounder next year to groom under kidd. This year could just be about bringing a veteran presence into NY; something they need.

I’m not convinced about Ricky Rubio either. Do you see me campaigning for Rubio. He looks weak and soft I think he’d get manhandled in the NBA for a few years. Get Kidd and Brandon Jennings (who supposedly are friends, both from Cali) and then I could see your “plan”. But with the team giving up on Nate Robinson, who are they grooming?

Well call me silly, Nash doesn’t try on defense! He had good feet pretty, good lateral quickness and it never translated into him being a decent defender or even being able to keep his man in front of him, why because he didn’t try. Watch him play defense again, go back even to his “MVP” years. He sucks. He’s a great passer, yes. I just don’t want this team to lose complete sight of defense. Defense wins championships.

What superstar do they have a shot at? People are setting themselves up for some major disappointment by putting all their eggs in one basket. You think people were disappointed at being so close and missing out on Stephen Curry! Wait until Lebron and Wade re-up with their respective teams.

Grooming what point guard? Everyone here has thrown Nate Robinson under the bus and given up on him, so who? What I’m saying is Kidd is only going to help a team for 2 more years the Knicks are further away than that and why would LBJ come here to play with someone he won’t be playing with for more than a year at a high level? (lol @ Kidd playing at a high level a year from now)

So the Knicks should sign Bill Russell! He’d bring back respectability to the Knicks and he has what 13 rings?!

Kidd to a team a player away from getting out of the Conference finals, yes maybe. THAT”S a commitment to winning. Kidd to a team 4 players from having home court in the 1st round of the playoffs is irrelevant.

guys the more i think of this …. its got very very little to do with talent ….
this is like the mets signing pedro martinez, only kid is even further into his twilight ….. this is about bringing back respect and credibility to the knicks organization ….
many people believe beltran, delgado and some other would not have signed with mets without the pedro signing …..
if big time stars like bron,wade, etc feel that a team signing a jason kidd shows more of a committment to winning, as opposed to signing a player like a ramon sessions… then so be it.. the sacrifice will be worth it

I don’t like Steve Nash. He’s more worried about entertaining fans than winning games. I don’t think he deserved the MVP once let alone 2 yrs in a row. He plays one end of the floor (offense) and he has never been to the finals, probably a first for an MVP in this era.
