Lee is not going to portland...unless they get desperate and HAVE to make a move.

It would be a sign and trade, but right now it's not even close to being discussed.

Im just as confused as you, I have no clue why they want Lee and they are willing to pay a backup 10 million.
And If nate wants to stay for the QO I say let him stay.

Espn is reporting the trailblazers are seriously considering an offer for DLee ... i hope this means a sign and trade because i would hate to lose him for nothing ....

Tommy ... do you still expect Walsh to try to make a splash in the coming weeks because I know hed like to get a final roster in before the season this time and he still holds so many valuable pieces/contracts in Al Harrington Hughes Mobley and a lot of the other Eastern Conference teams are only getting better... Would hate to see the Knicks give a top 5 pick to the Jazz

Where would Portland play Lee? Behind Aldridge? Oden?
Are they going to pay 8-10 million for a backup.
I like Lee. A lot. I just don't see a fit for him in Portland, unless the Blazers are planning to trade Aldridge, who is paid A LOT less.
I wish there was a fit, 'cause I'd love to get back either Bayless or Fernandez.

I don't think there are any real suitors for Lee with cap space right now. Memphis is out, Portland doesn't seem to have a fit, Toronto is out, and OKC seems set on getting Milsap.
I would love to see Lee back in NY for $7.5 a year. Anything above that I think we are overpaying for him in this market. He would remain a prized asset at that very manageable salary.
What I'd really like to know is, are there any sign and trade options that could help us get Rubio?
Who does Kahn want that we can get in exchange for Lee?
Does someone have a stud SF ot 2-guard that is expendable in exchange for Lee?

I wouldnt mind if he went to Portland in a sign&trade..

we could get Fernandez or Bayless out of that..
and since Fernandez is 'unhappy' with the organization, that'll make it easier..

But if there not interested, oh well..
