“…Celtics coach Doc Rivers will meet with Grant Hill in Orlando on Sunday to discuss reuniting in Boston.
Hill and Rivers spent four seasons together with the Magic, but the time was marred by the forward’s injury woes.
Rivers believes that Hill could help push the Celtics past the Cavaliers and Magic in the playoffs, while Hill is intrigued by the possibility to joining Boston.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen now,” Hill said Saturday night. “It’s too early to say.”
Hill is also scheduled to travel to New York on Monday morning to meet with the Knicks.
Suns general manager Steve Kerr traveled to Orlando this past Wednesday to discuss a return to Phoenix with Hill…”
I’m confused by the Hill interest. I feel he has some left to give, but who’s minutes will he be taking? Like I’ve said before, securing another SF could make one on the roster available in a trade.

I don’t understand this recent interest in veteran leadership. First it was Kidd and now it is Hill. We had veteran leadership in Malik Rose and in Quentin Richardson and it did not seem to make a big difference in performance. I think the Knicks will getting better by establishing a rotation without glaring holes and then a lot of team practice. Your thoughts
Q Rich set a horrible example with his off the court behavior and his lack of a winning attitude. Malik had the winning pedigree but couldnt play a lick,
Im OK with some vet leadership but Not Grant Hill. Im in the Nash camp./ Less so for Kidd from a physical standpoint.
couldn’t have said it better myself…^^^
If Nash comes to NY, Im saying we get 45 wins and 6th seed.
I like Hill a lot and think he has enough left in the tank to help some team out, but I’m not sure what he brings to the Knicks. We already have plenty of forwards in his role. Unless Chandler is going to be traded, I don’t see the point…….and I don’t see the point to trading Chandler unless we are bringing a young stud to play Guard.
I don’t want Hill on this team. Unless we’re getting Nash a year early and he wants a friendly face along for the ride.
That would be a great addition to the Celtics if they can sign Grant Hill for cheap. They already got Rasheed Wallace and he’s going to help them out alot. Not bad if they have Rasheed Wallace and Grant Hill coming off the bench. Then all they have to do is get Glen Davis signed and they’re good to go for a championship run barring any major injuries again.
