Apparently Dolan and some other Knick exec’s went to see Eddy Curry and were not very impressed. Curry weighs 328 lbs, which is not a big difference. And to top it off, they didn’t see much of him on the court because he forgot to bring his sneakers.

What a joke Eddy Curry is. Guy is wasting our time.

    It’s Alan Hahn’s article in Newsday….

“Although Donnie Walsh and Mike D’Antoni are outwardly pleased by the 6-11 center’s recommitment, there were still a few caution flags. Curry arrived knowing he was expected to be on the court but did not bring sneakers. He borrowed assistant coach Herb Williams’ Nikes for both practices. Williams stood in Curry’s flip-flops on the sideline.”

soooo Who Said Curry Wasn’t The Odd Man Out?

Reminds me of the kid in high school who showed up to baseball tryouts without a glove.

The initial excitement about curry rededicating himself has quickly dwindled. the 50 lbs has been reduced to 30, at best, and now he forgets his sneakers. C’mon Eddy.

Curry doesn’t care about playing for the Knicks. That’s because of Dantoni. Dantoni dissed him last season when he told the media that Curry was out of the rotation and Curry won’t forget that.

Supposedly he’s a players coach, but what kind of coach pushes for Chris Duhon as a starter, only to have the GM look for another starting point guard to replace him?

He dissed Curry, and will never get him back.

So what Curry didn’t bring his sneakers. When he was trying to get in shape, after being sick last season, and was rusty in the first game, Dantoni dissed him.

He still played but because of the negativity surrounding Curry, its a big deal. The next sentence says he borrowed some sneakers, so it isn’t that big of a deal.

Why is it okay for Dantoni to DISS players and get away with it. He is making it worse for the Knicks trying to get players.

Two OLD guys said no to the Knicks. The writing is on the wall

You are what we call a mole. You and Curry are probably boys. lol.. just kidding so no rants please! I’m just saying, you come into training camp over wieght then sit out an entire training camp and pre season. through out the season you gain even more weight and are mad when a new coaching staff that is known for it’s super uptempo style is not happy with you’re conditioning. The team is in a transition and is going from no concrete style of play to the original 7 seconds or less style. Even Q-Rich came into shape. It’s their job to stay in shape and if they are hurt to at least watch their weight. If for any other reason keep yourself ready to come in at anytime and play. No one is garanteed a starting spot and even Duhon knows he may lose his starting job. Very few elite players can’t worry. Walsh is trying to built not only a championship team but a team that will be contenders for years. Tell me Curry cares about his career and I will call you Delusional. Remember it’s Curry who has something to prove not the coaches, they have a team to build.

if you come unprepared, you deserve to be dissed.
there has to be some form of accountability.
