UPDATE… According to Marc Stein, the Raptors will send backup PG Roko Ukic along with Delfino to the Bucks for Johnson and Sonny Weems. If the Bucks matched any offer to Sessions, that would leave the team with four PGs on their roster for the upcoming season. Not sure if that is what they really want.
According to ESPN.com, the Toronto Raptors have been trying to ship
Carlos Delfino to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Amir Johnson. Earlier this off-season, Johnson was sent from Detroit to Milwaukee for Fabricio Oberto after Oberto was sent to Milwaukee for Richard Jefferson. (If you missed this off-season, that sentence should help prove the amount of movement that took place earlier.)
Because Delfino is a RFA, the Bucks would have to agree to a new contract with Delfino that spans at least two years. Johnson is a free agent after this season.
From a basketball standpoint, this deal would make a lot of sense for the Raptors. They have already brought in Antoine Wright, DeMar DeRozan, Marco Belinelli and Heod Turkoglu to be in the mix at the SG/ SF spot. Johnson would bring some needed depth up-front. The Raptors have already brought in bunch of new talent this off-season. Up-front, they have added Reggie Evans and Rasho Nesterovic to play with Bosh and Bargnani. Johnson could be the first forward off the bench there.
In terms of the Knicks, Delfino is a guy that has been mentioned on this site for a while. However, I am fairly sure that Delfino would require a multi-year deal because he is a RFA. Not sure Walsh will give guaranteed money to a guy like that beyond next season.
Bringing in Delfino is an interesting move for the Bucks, but I am not sure how that would have an effect on Ramon Sessions. Delfino plays a different position than Sessions and the deal would be a money swap, not an addition to the Bucks’ payroll.

As I once said I´d love to see Delfino playing for the Knicks, but lookin at the Bucks´roster I believe they really need him more than us, plus couldnt think on which kind of trade should take place to make that happen.
Again, I´d love it! but of courrse i wouldnt give up more than Larry “STOP TAKING SOW MANY BAD SHOTS” Hughes in exchange… Any ideas??
Rubio stories are starting to get like Brett Farce cough I mean Favre lol. Smoke and mirrors I’ll belive it when I see it,
I wouldnt mind Rubes but not for Wilson our known youngster for the unknown youngster
Does Cardinal’s contract extend beyond 2010? Is Mike Miller done, would he be a good fit in NY for Jeffries?
I thought Delfino was on our radar at one time, oh well like sands in a hour glass so we wait for a Knicks major move
