    Tommy great work my man. you’ve supplied a great forum for us Knick fans. great work…
    Tommy i got a dilemma with this rotation. it seems to me that J.HILL CURRY & HUGHES are fighting for the last rotation spot cuz based on publicized worries about gallo’s legs the Startin five is either gonna be;

    DUHON DUHON
    CHANDLER CHANDLER
    GALLO OR JEFFRIES
    AL AL
    LEE LEE

    W/ NATE, TONY D, GALLO/JEFFRIES & MILICIC LOCKED IN THE ROTATION…
    that leaves room for 1 more spot (in a 10 man rotation) and bein that Curry isn’t 100% that leaves him out for now so it comes down to J.Hill or Hughes…
    Tony D plays just as good D as Hughes and even though Tony D can’t find his shot Hughes seems to have lost his completely and he is not in the future plans like J.HILL is. Plus we need someone in the rotation to back up AL @ PF and Hughes is not that. i just don’t see how HUGHES fits cuz DUHON & WILSON will be our starting guards and TONY D & NATE will be our back ups. We need someone in the rotation that will back up the PF position so i think Hill should get a shot at the rotation until Curry shows he can play, then move Darko to back up PF and give Curry some min @ C to showcase’em.

    I’M SORRY FOR THE LONG POST BUT THE POTENTIAL ROTATION IS KEEPIN ME UP @ NIGHT!!!

    I really liked what I saw from Chandler in game one, but I’m not convinced he’s going to make much progress this year over last. His instructions for the off season were to work on his “handle” (he twittered that info when he had an account). Mostly likely, the team wants him to be versatile enough to play some SG so they can play him with Gallo. However, IMO he also needed to work on his outside shot, shot selection, and ability to finish around the basket. The problem is that he was off the court for almost the entire summer due to his surgery. He didn’t return to the court until September and isn’t even 100% fit yet. He said as much the other day. So I seriously doubt he has made huge progress on his handle and any other skills in the off season the way we hope.

    Chandler is still part of our future, but don’t be surprised if we see a lot of the same inconsistency this year that we saw last year.

    He had 21 pts his first game what are u complaining abt exactly.

  • italian stallion

    I’m not complaining about his performance the other day.

    But he had games like that last year and then the next night went 4-18, didn’t get to the free throw line, threw up a few terrible shots, and didn’t finish well around the basket.

    I think he’s highly likely to improve over time. I was expecting that to happen this summer. But you can’t improve if you spend several months on crutches instead of in the gym working on your weaknesses. So what I am suggesting is that we take that game with a grain of salt until he demonstrates some consistency. I don’t think we are going to see a lot of immediate improvement.

    The rotation should be increased to keep people fresh, Hughes jumper is ugly but sometimes he can hit it. I want to see steals and fast breaks and contesting shots to the rim. Tell Jordan Hill to watch film on D Lee how he plays off Duhon and watch film of Amare how he contributed in Mike D’s system
