Halftime 70-51 Knicks are down

by Ben Chayon on October 31st, 2009 at 8:54 pm

Ahh another frustrating half of minimal defense and an obsession with the 3. As for now seems as though the Knicks haven’t taken Duhon’s comments seriously. Got killed right out of the gate tonight. Will take a large comeback to prevent the team from starting 0-3. Let’s hope for the best. Hope you guys enjoy the updates from the game.

Trade or Bench Duhon Toney D and Larry can run this team better. Plus they play better D.

danni boy will go down as the worse coach in knicks history if he don’t get it together an put a better lineup an rotation out there
if u think 23 wins is bad i don’t think danni boy can make it to 20..

yea it early but i can see thing gettin worse

goodluck knicks 2010 plan=over paying regular stars=bosh joe J an amare..

  • itzyung1

This duhon right here is the one from early last year that was good. not that 3 chucking one from this season.

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

    o shit they in ot
    al gillan hughes

  • Mucha

It’s over – somebody should have fouled a Sixer when Harrington was laying on the floor.

  • Mucha

Why can’t they play hard from the get-go?

    Notes :

    - Al Harrington is unstoppable when he plays close the basket, he’s too elusive for traditionnal power forwards.

    - Wilson Chandler is not a perimeter player I mean it’s obvious – he has to take advantage of his quickness to penetrate or hit the midrange jumper.

    - Larry Hughes played well.

    - Danilo Gallinari’s a stud.

Hopefully they’ll start to play harder and understand that Chandler and Harrington create havoc when they get in the paint.

  • Bob

imagine if they would feed GALLO…….hed score 35 ppg

  • itzyung1

Im feelin like you Bob we should really trade Chandler for JR Smith and a pick right now. Or any other Playmaker.

  • Section 40

I couldn’t agree with you more

  • Bob

the problem with that is …..you have to get the other team to agree to it

    Its Been a while,

Now Let me explain why we got back in this game for those who didn’t notice.

DAVID LEE WAS ON THE BENCH, AL needs to be the 4 how obvious is it at the 4 Harrington is way more effective, as a 3 who is he going up against Lebron James, Carmelo, Iggy these guys can stay infront of him and guard him at the 4 his a mismatch for alot of teams.

Wilson, Mike D needs to put Wil in spots where he can be sucsessful that is at the 3 spot thats where hes comfortable leave him there.

Gallo is a fit at the 2G I look at it as a wing position he shoots lights out shooting guard shooting foward same thing on this team.

Darko needs more mins he will be more productive with more mins and will get comfortable offensively/defensively the longer hes out there look what it did for Gallo.

Duhon doesnt need to be CP3 for this team to win hes not the problem the lineup is.

I will say it again David needs to come off the bench:

    PG – Chris Duhon

    SG – Danilo Gallinari

    SF – Wilson Chandler

    PF – AL Harrington

    C – Darko

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

    that line up is tight
i think will will have to average 10 rebs in that lineup

  • dino2008

Thank God for Gallinari… He is a stud. LETS PLAY JORDAN HILL PLEASE WE STINK! JEFFRIES HAD O POINTS, HIS DEFENSE ABILITIES DO NOT MAKE UP FOR HIS LACK OF OFFENSE. PLAY JORDAN HILL BECAUSE QUITE FRANKLY WE DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO LOSE. I LOVE GALLINARI. sorry for the caps

  • Mucha

    I don’t know.

David Lee’s REALLY effective but of course, he’s not a game-changer because he’s not able to create his own shot.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but if he really has to come off the bench then Donnie Walsh HAS to trade him, period.

  • itzyung1

Jeffries should really not even be playing . If he is out there for playing D, He is doing a horrible job at that.
But I see why Toney and J Hill are barely getting Minutes BECAUSE WE RE ALWAYS BEHIND BY 20.
