Would You Have Signed for 2-3?

As the Knicks enter tonight’s game against the Pacers it’s fair to label this one a must win. The Pacers are one of the few teams the Knicks SHOULD beat and they are at home.

Troy Murphy is iffy for the game and should he not play, the Knicks simply have to get it done.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself but I’m curious if I asked you before the season started over the first 5 games, would you have signed for 2-3 with 2 overtime losses?

The Knicks have to put together the same effort from the other night against the Hornets. If they don’t and they allow the Pacers their first win, while starting out 1-4, I’d be extremely disappointed.

I would expect the Pacers to beat the Knicks. They have a better more balanced lineup, if Troy can’t go that will even things out. I personally have the Pacers ahead of NY this year, just my opinion.

my wish for th season was that the KNICKS just play good solid basketball.the last game they played wasthe onl one where they actually looked good.the 2 overtime games,ev if they had won in overtime, they realy looked like shit and didnt deserve the win.hopefully tonite they play another fundementally sound game.i really think that nate being out, helps with the fundementals, hes so out of control,he makes the rest of the team look out of control.trade him for point guard

I’d take a 2-3 start. Of course, in the begining of the season I would have been hoping for a .500 start but after that first Celtics loss I will be happy with 2-3. The biggest bright spot is Gallo getting some minutes. Its a sigh of relief that something is actually going right around here.

Seriously the Knicks looked horrible in those two overtime losses. I don’t know how anyone can spin them into a positive.

  • HaS

Precisely, they looked terrible for the majority of those overtime losses.

Only Tommy can. But seriously, this is a game, if the Knicks play with the same intensity and hustle from the opening tip like they did on Monday, they should win. But who knows which Knick team will show up.

Definitely, imagine how much of a disaster it would be if Gallo wasn’t producing? Our future would be on a still recovering Chandler with no jump shot, and two rooks who can’t crack steady minutes on “this” knicks squad.

But today’s game against Indy is huge, cuz we’re almost certain to lose to the cavs. 2-4 is much better than 1-5

I’m expecting 1-4, not 2-3 as long a Granger is healthy. Even with Knick Killer Jarrett Jack gone, Hibbert is shaping up to be a pretty good defender and could neutralize Lee. I hope this doesn’t turn into a chuck-a-thon again.

hughes might be our MVP for the season while he is here.

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

if LEE IS guarding him 1on1 hibbert is going to have a career nite
an yes danni boy is that stupid..

  • CircleLimit4

Stupid would be NOT starting Lee. Take Lee out of our starting lineup and we lose all of our interior game and any balance we have to our offense. That’s when we start chucking 3′s. Lee will out produce Hibbert. We need to be worrying about Granger on offense, not Hibbert. Emeka Okafor got some points against Lee but we still controlled nearly the entire game and Lee’s 24 was a huge part of that.
