Is it time to trade Jared Jeffries and Nate Robinson for a point guard who can replace Duhon? Raymond Felton, Sebastian Telfair, Steve Blake. might be available. How long does DW wait for Duhon? Any ideas?

great mix once again. The only downside of it is that David Lee is in like 5 of the top ten plays, thats downright sickening.

Mobley + Chandler + Hughes for T-Mac

We lost to the Kings, Happy Thanksgiving….

joetheknick,
this is very painful. i couldn’t even stay with it last night it was so bad.
you are so right, but the orgn is taking a hit. it is a panic.
very bad decision making not getting jason williams-he looks crisp.
we are in desperate need of a nba quality point-there are 0 on the roster.
duhon is killing the team on offense, and maybe more on defense!
but as with last year, the team fg % is also woeful. what can we do?
happy thanksgiving to everyone and their family.

knicks613. Neither could I. Seems like a trade of JJ and Nate for a PG would not only help at PG but open up more time for Douglas and Hill and Curry. Jason Williams really looked good. Maybe we can get lucky too. Happy Thanksgiving.

This is like watching a trailer for a new movie and all the action is compressed into the 2 min clip, then when you watch the full movie it sucks like sitting through Ishtar.

I actually saw this movie in the theatre as part of a double feature lol. Damn this movie was bad. Almost as bad as watching the Knicks play.

the knicks might have more wins than the nets but the knicks are the worse team in the league when it comes to effort-both from the players an coach.

what i’m getting from everything

is that danni boy an donnie don’t care about winning

it’s that plain an simple.

2010 here the knicks come.

just play hill gillynari an doug already give them 20+ minutes every game this season was over before it even started
donnie knew it an danni boy knew it that’s why he isn’t coaching..

It doesnt matter how much money we may have, we CANT attract good players if we suck this bad. The Celtics were able to get Garnett and Allen because they had a superstar Pierce on the team. We have Al Harrington, lol, and the best we can attract is a retiring Iverson. This is sad, but i seriously hope that Walsh and D’Antoni have something up there sleeves other than hopes and dreams.

In one hour time i’ll watch the game barcelona vs Siena, euroleague. I won’t support Siena because i’m from grosseto, tuscany, and we really don’t like siena since the 13th century. Btw siena is our best team and they play a very good basket just unlike the knicks. Ah i forgot, the attraction will be Rubio on the Barca side. How could the stupid manager from minnesota think that this guy left a city like barcelona for minneapolis? These europens guys who are alredy well paid star here won’t abandon our style of living to bury themselves in the deep american province. New york is New york of course, so LA or miami.

That’s typical of the arrogance of some Americans. The rest of the world stinks and only America is great even if you are out in the middle of nowhere. Europe has a rich and long history and great culture. Americans forget that, we are only around a few hundred years.

The Minny GM has to be the biggest horses butt, the worst draft I have ever seen from a GM. Other than not picking Jordan by the guy in Portland.

Hill has shown glimpses of being a very good PF. He has above average athleticism for his size, and an above average jump shot. He has a chance to be a great player, and i don’t know how much longer i can tolerate him sitting on the bench while we are losing.

I just want to say, did anyone see the Cavs stats last night from people not named Lebron. For all the talk about how much our team sucks and won’t be able to attract free agents, the Cavs have no one there to really keep Lebron. He is that team. I actually like Hill and think he can be a good player. Its a joke that him and Darko are stuck to the bench while Buckets keeps chucking. He sucks, what a bum.

If the knicks dump currys contract and get t mac they could build a dynasty. They would have enough cap 4 bosh and lebron and t mac might sign 4 a small contract with hopes of playing with them to win a ring. That big 3 woould be better than the celtics big 3 that won a ring if t mac is heallthy. T mac best ray lebron best pierce and bosh best garnette . DW has to do whatever it takes to trade with houston .

Al does keep chucking, but he’s still our closest thing to a volume scorer, and you have to have at least 1 to win any games.

The more annoying thing for me is that JJ is getting minutes over hill. When JJ gets traded, hill should be getting 25 a night at least. (he played 9 last night and JJ 15). Hill has proven he has the chance to be a great PF with a rare combination of skill, athleticism, and size. He is PERFECT for this team and needs to be given some real responsibility so that he can have a chance to catch fire.

Amen… Its starting to become nauseating that we are the worst team in the league and our promising lotto pick isn’t playing.

But not as nauseating as the fact that Duhon is still “running” the offense. (actually, he’s not).

Just let Tony give it a shot.

i just watched Rubio playing a game in euroleague, wow what a player and he’s 19 only!! Who knows if our illuminated DW plans to get him in 2011? I think that Rubio can surely cross the ocean and abandon the sweet life in mediterranean barcelona to come to NY. he didn’t for minneapolis of course and he will never. I dream of a starting five with
rubio pg
gallinari sf
LBJ
two smart and nasty FA for the others two positions
a good supporting cast

no more duhon hughes harrington lee curry

The knicks only have 2 players in the top 50 Adjusted field goal percentage (bets measure of offensive efficiency)

10. Galo (the tenth most efficient scorer in the league. Just imagine if he starts taking it to the hole more.)

30. Lee

Jeff,

I’m starting to worry about Gallo’s back again. To me, he’s still looking very slow and stiff out there. He may just be slow footed, but when you combine it with him lying on his back when he’s off the court and looking like he’s having trouble bending over to pick up the ball, I think we have something to worry about.

Berman is reporting that Chadler’s ankle is still bothering him. That may account for some of his disappointing season.

The production of the mix was good the music could have been better. But what’s sad is the top 10 plays were boring. What was exciting in the mix. The knicks lost so what’s new. They make average players look like all stars and this year they made Jennings and Tyreke look damn good.

I understand playing JJ to “showcase” him but not duhon anymore. And of course, not really showcasing JJ because he absolutely sucks and is one of the worst rotation players in the league, if not the worst. Nobody is going to be stupid enough to trade for him I would think. Duhon just makes no sense. He is a complete bum and a total disgrace to the NBA, basketball, and the Knicks uniform. What a joke.

Let Tony run the point! What’s the worst thing that could happen? He has sloppy games and we lose? We’re already losing. At least when we are playing well we will actually be pushing the ball, penetrating, and creating open shots.

Until they move curry and JJ every player has to be on display who has an expiring contract or isn’t apart of the plans moviing foward to package with them in a trade. Duhon isn’t playing good but he does have an expiring contract which makes him a trade asset especially if he returns to last years form in a streak over a few games. After curry is moved and they still don’t play their rooks then that would be stupid and unexplainable.

Rookie development is secondary to moving bad contracts .

You don’t need to display Jeffries or Duhon. They’re known and have a history to be judged with. The only time you display is to prove a player is healthy and capable of staying on the floor without any injury problems. The only thing I see D displaying by playing Jeffries and Duhon over Hill and Douglas is bad judgment. Walsh said it’s up to the coach to properly develop the youth and it’s not happening.

An NBA player that has back surgery will never meet his full potential. Like LJ and Q, the best they can be won’t be reached, and an earlier retirement than should had been will take place. Good games will result, but 100%, the problem has gone completely away will never be.

Hey, Totti!

Your starting five sounds pretty good to me. I also am more and more excited about Hill and Douglas. They both show a lot of spirit and intensity, and don’t seem to back down from anybody. I see them contributing in a major way as rotation players in the future–and Hill very well could be a starter. If there was only a pass-first PG who pushed the ball up and knew how to take it to the hoop now and then to keep the opposing defense honest…

By the way, who else do you see from your country making the move across the Big Pond in the next couple of years?

Has anybody else noticed how slow Gallo runs the floor. Hill takes 5 steps and is instantly across more than half the court yet gallo puts his head down like he’s sprinting and it looks like he’s running in place he’s so slow.

Does anybody see this as a problem? Or how about how stiff this guy looks.

Did he look like this in Europe? Was he that slow?

Brooke Lopez is starting to make himself known even on the worst team in the NBA.

Tell me Lopez and Jennings would not be a great starting place to build a team and attract those free agents he wants. Instead we have Gallo and Hill. Sorry but Donnie blew the only 2 drafts he had. He had to get it right and he did not!!!!!
