I could be wrong, but my guess is that at this number now, GMs would be leery. But as the deadline approaches…different story.

JJ should NOT be playing the 5 or the 4.. he CAN NOT guard 5 positions as CL4 said..

He has a skill set but has been erribly mis casted in his time in NYC. Under the right circumstances on the right team he can be a valuable contributor.

But the dude is horribly over paid. that is part of him whether we like it or not. As Uncle Donnie said — “you can be a good player at one $$ figure and a hiorrible player at another”.

If a team is already over the cap and needs what he provides he can be moved.

(Is that better? )

So who could realistically take him for an expiring or a trade exception?

lol yeah i remember kersey and laimbeer, two players who were SERIOUS products of successful teams. So was John Salley.

They were part of a successful group.

Gerald wilkins? he took the worst shots ever…he NEVER reached his potential. wow.

I just watched my high school team…they have a kid who makes a million plays that you would never notice if you weren’t watching him.

team has a ton of talent was struggling but was +15 with him on the court…and scored 6 points and horribly missed 2 threes.

why does he shoot? Because he works his ass off and no coach would EVER tell him he couldn’t shoot.

jeffries is a poor offensive player on a team that needs him to score.

per minute, defensively, he is very skilled.
