Curry Practices

Via Adamek:

“…Yes, he’s back, again, although probably not ready to play until Friday in New Orleans.

And, to be honest, the “practice” Eddy Curry undertook Saturday for the first time since bruising his troublesome left knee Nov. 24 against the Lakers wasn’t much more than a shootaround.

Plus, Eddy also admitted he needs to rebuild strength in both of his legs, since his conditioning work since injuring the knee almost two weeks ago has involved bike and pool work.

Still, what the heck, we all go a bit overboard every time Eddy (who still looks slim by his standards) sneezes, it seems, so maybe they’ll get more than the four straight games he played earlier this season out of him this time.

And maybe some other team will be watching and think, “Geez, we ought to trade for this guy…”

He needs to stay healthy long enough for us to move him.

  • GreatScott

    greetings
nice win last night. curry is a waste of space and oxygen.

  • Heri

    Greetings, Greatscott!

The only reason that a trade for McGrady makes sense is to trade Curry.

  • GreatScott

the best thing to do is ignore Thall. he is a hoe.

Heri is a cool cat and he knows his stuff plus he has a neat sense of humor. He’ll squash Thall with no problem.

    greetings to all.

  • Realist_Knick_Fan

[Insert Curry practicing, knees healthy, has trade value - joke here]

  • Heri

He works out on a bike and pool, but still needs to rebuild strength in both legs?!?!?!?!?

  • Dave the Rave

Curry will be lucky to play in 20 games this year. His body is a $12M jalopy.

  • Realist_Knick_Fan

There’s just no way we can trade Curry this season – no one wants that contract going into the summer of 2010.

My question is – Curry’s contract a YEAR FROM NOW – looks great – it’s expiring – nice little – what 10 or 11 million. At this point – the Knicks could trade Curry’s contract – and might have some extra cap space also depending on this upcoming offseason and who they end of getting or not – plus Jefferies’ contract – who can we trade for during next season that would fit into our plans and have value and that a team is looking to unload a lengthy contract (think kind of like Garnet before ’07-08 season, Carter before this season)?

  • SpaceMan

who gives a shit really? there is always something wrong with this dude.

  • Realist_Knick_Fan

    Tommy Dee –

Could you rank me your top 10 for 2010 FA outside of bron and d-wade? Thanks. You can also include any restricted FAs you might want to go after that we would realistically have a shot at. Thanks again.

In an interview with Ian Thomsen, Stern has said that this coming decade will feature the first female to play in the NBA

  • donnie walsh

not sure if this has been mentioned on this site, but thought this was hysterical. Just read this in Bill Simmon’s latest article.

“There are two nights of star-studded concerts to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — located in Cleveland, as you know — and those concerts happen at Madison Square Garden.
Here’s my question, God: What did Cleveland do to you? “

  • Bob go knicks

oh GREATSCOTT must be one of HERIs many aliases

  • Heri

Ian Thomsen is a well known reporter for CNN, but for Sports Illustrated, LeBron said that it would be forced and too soon to expect the first female in the NBA to be successful.

  • Heri

Candice Parker in the WBA, the sister of Clevelands Anthony Parker is considered the best female player today, but her brother Anthony said, she isn’t ready for the NBA.

  • Heri

Sterns has said that the first female that may play in the NBA is Brittney Griner who plays for the Univ of Baylor in the NCAA. She’s a seven footer, 19 years old and is averaging 26.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.3 blocks in her first season’s seven games.

  • Heri

In the 80′s Indiana signed the first female in the NBA. Her name being Ann Mayer, but after three days in the pre season, she walked away.

  • itzyung1

OK If the first Female NBA Player is going to be a center she better be very strong..

  • Heri

And I’m also Biggiesmall, Knowledge and all the rest of the bloggers poking fun at Thall for the insane BS. Trolling is for the mentally ill, wouldn’t you agree? Bob go Knicks?

  • Thall

    is this a Knicks’ blog
or a Heri and greatscott love affair?
OK, just promise that you wont hit yourself with golf clubs. lol

  • Heri

The strength of a lady can’t compete with the strength of a man, but height can’t be learned or denied. I don’t think she would play center. A 7 footer in the 3 spot would work.

  • Heri

Can the NBA become the first unisex mayor sports in America? Is there a unisex sport?

  • traps9

No, I think that’s about the gist of the joke, right there.

“Insert Curry practicing, knees healthy, has trade value” ;)

  • Heri

At least you admit to being lost. It’s a Knicks blog, and did I rock your peanut or what? You are possess with me. Letting the real you be revealed instead of talking basketball. You poor soul. Stick to basketball, buddy; you can do it. .

  • Thall

Heri is navy tested so let’s all sing:

In the Navy, we will suck each other dry
In the Navy, we’re all gay and always high
In the Navy, we sniff glue thats what we do
In the Navy, In the navy

Ok, stick a basketball in you buddy. try it you can do it. LoL

  • Bob go knicks

yeah, but your going overboard with that”HERI IS A COOL CAT” stuff

  • Bob go knicks

    shes better than CHRIS DUHON

  • Scott

FYI, I am the original “Great Scott” but rarely post here and only go by Scott when I do. Thall must have signed up with my Great Scott name here so he could start some BS as usual. You’re not even a Knicks fan. Get off the blog you big dope.

  • Scott

The name Great Scott has officially been retired. If you see that name anywhere from this point on, it’s not me.

  • Thall

Heri just posted as ‘Scott’ HA HA HA HA

    Heri is busted again.

then great scott was complimenting him too. what’s going on here?
even Heri is getting confused with his multiple aliases.

you can only wear one helmet at a time Heri boy. LoL

  • Scott

You’re the confused one posting with aliases. I have never posted here but under the name Scott. Tommy should ban you.

  • Scott

Speaking of Curry, Oden just got hurt again and is out for the rest of the reason with another broken bone. A broken knee cap. Maybe Portland should trade for Curry.

  • BiggieSmalls

    i saw that.. interesting.

    Thall.. go away you lunatic.

you are obsessed and dont want to talk NYK.

  • Jeff Cykiert

This is getting ugly in here.
