If you actually watch Chandler you will see a potentially great player. But until someone teaches this guy how to play defense, some low post moves and that he’s not a spot up shooter like Gallo he will always be a second rate player who never reached his potential.

I blame D’Antoni. He’s not using this guy correctly. As I have said before this guy should NOT be sitting on the 3 point line as Gallo does. He’s out of position there. He should be a bit closer to the basket. That allows him to either drive to the basket or shoot the short jumper, that is his strong areas. He’s not a pure shooter like Gallo.

He should be driving to the basket, he plays face up. But he needs to learn a few low post moves too. If he did he would be a much better player, more like a 20/10 guy or close to it, he has the physical ability. He would be able to get more rebounds especially offensive were he is very good that way. He has shown that by getting a rebound many times after his own miss and following it up with a basket. He’s lost out there on the 3 pt line, it’s not his game and D’Antoni should know that. You’re wasting him out there.

That’s the issue I have with D’ant, he has his way and he does not change it to fit the player.

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

i have a feeling chandler will be traded.

i also think there will be no zeke guys on the roster after this season
mayb just jj an eddy video game curry..

  • Heri

It’s official, Rudy Fernandez to get spine surgery.

  • Heri

    Nate and Chandler for Rubio.

  • Heri

Lee and Jeffries for Rudy, Bayless and Pzilla.

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

    it’s done..

call it a rap for him

    r.i.p rudy
he will never be the same unless it’s not serious

  • Heri

    Curry for McGrady

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

i think rudy is now on the trading block since is back is done for.

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

curry for anything useful is good enuff

  • DaGawD_KnowLedge

    i like that
would we going to have to take another contract back

  • CircleLimit4

I pray that the Blazers (and others) were impressed by Jeffries last night.

  • Heri

Duhon, Hughes, PzIlla, Harrington and Gallo to start. Bench is McGrady, Bayless, Douglas and Hill. Work at bringing Rubio asap.

  • Heri

I’d go for Rudy and let him get over the back surgery. His value takes a hit. In a year he could return and it would be a steal. It’s worth rolling the dice. Add Portland to Houston as two teams that may be all eyes on Curry.

  • blackwood

here is what bayless is saying……..

As for Rudy its its not like Gallos surgery its a nerve issue

T be honest they dont have to be so much impressed but rather compatent of what they need. They can score once they get there wing guys back they will be high scoring again, what they need is blue color bigs to back up pzilla.

JJ,Darko,Hill, Landry for Bayless,Pendergraph,Webster, whats left on miles contract and a pick. The money is a match.

  • Jack D

Although ridding of JJ’s contract and taking back young prospects, I don’t think Donnie would deal Hill.

  • Jack D

Yes but I don’t see the Curry and pieces for Mcgrady happening. It’s a too good to be true kind of thing.

  • Jack D

I don’t think we should give up on Chandler just yet. Donnie is patient and will wait it out, that is if the right deal comes along.

  • blackwood

The sad part is I agree with you and that type of crap is what i try to show my fellow fans, shedding some payroll is cool but he has held us back on the young talent side of things.

Mind you what I cooked up was a hypothetical the fact is that if it was offered he would reject it.

  • bartnyk

Monroe looked great hes def a lottery pick reminds me of Bosh a little less explosive but that will come in time hes a great PF/C prospect.

  • Boots

My understanding, correct me if I’m wrong, is that Rudy’s surgery will be similar to Gallo’s in terms of shaving a disc slightly to relieve pressure on the Sciatic nerve.

  • Bob go knicks

lts a partial disc removal.his nerve was being pinched by the bulging disc causing pain and spasms down his lower back and down his left leg.i had the same operation 25 years ago,and my left foot has been numb ever since

  • HaS

But we have young talent in Jordan Hill and Toney Douglas! The 2 steals of the 2009 Draft!

  • josh108
