Game Thread: Bulls At Knicks
The Bulls take the Garden floor tonight, coming off a demoralizing and humiliating loss last night at home to the Kings. I did not see the game, but anytime you blow a 35 point lead, something went devastatingly wrong.
The Knicks are surging of late and the Bulls have lost 7 of their last 11. That team is in turmoil and it appears that the coach is on the hot seat. But hey, that team is also chasing the same playoff spot as the Knicks. The Knicks have to win this game and the Knicks have to beat teams such as the Bulls. I do not care if Nate Robinson plays. I do not care if Eddy Curry plays. Jordan Hill. Darko Milicic. That Satan guy that Coach D’Antoni referred to just the other day. Plain and simple… the Knicks must win tonight. After a tough loss last week to the Bulls, I am looking for the Knicks to have a good night all around tonight.
As far as strategy goes, I know the Knicks can beat the Bulls. You all know the Knicks can beat the Bulls. The Knicks themselves know that they can beat the Bulls. The bottom line is that this team has to continue to play a smart half court game on both ends. Smart shots. Ball movement. Tight defensive rotations. Etc., etc.
Enjoy the game and let’s go Knicks!
