LeBron is not going to leave his home state where he is comfortable and is the biggest star in town just to come to NY and play with Gallo and Will. Donnie does not have a PG or a C in place. If Hill were to get more PT and show that he could be the 5 of the future then maybe LeBron would consider it. There are too many holes on this roster for him to take that gamble. It just does not make any sense. If this team where somehow able to trade Jeffries and save 2-3 million on Curry's deal (AINT HAPPENING) then we would def have a shot. A line up of C-Hill, PF-Bosh, SF-Gallo, SG-LeBron, PG-Jason Williams? With a bench of Nate, Chandler, Bender, Douglas would be enough to entice LeBron. This is the only way I can see LeBron leaving Cleveland.

augustine may turn out to be slightly better than Duhon, but he is not the long term answer. And anyone blaming D'Antoni for this shit, doesnt know what hes talking about. Our roster just doesnt have the talent that Donnie Walsh promised. No PG,NO SG<NO LEGIT CENTER,but mike ,go out and do what you can with it!Donnie Walsh is a disgrace. You cant PLAN a team based on what might be available in 2 years, and pass on some talent ,because the CAP might go down. That really doesnt sound like a real solid plan.Unless Donnie and Lebron shook hands on a deal 2 years ago,you just cannot build a team this way.If anything Mike D'Antoni w as blatently lied to as to what players would be supplied. You should almost feel sorry for MD.He was sold wolf tickets,And the fans now expect him to make diamonds out of dog shit.No matter what line-up he sends out there,HE DOESNT HAVE A PG!DUHON CANT HELP,NATE CANT HELP,DOUGLASS?ARE YOU KIDDING ME?They have to get some talent in here,by now there shoulda been at least a couple of pieces of veteran talent on this team.Thats what Donnie the Genius promised mike

Why cant the team just play Toney Douglas? Lets see what the kid can bring now instead of waiting later. Just start Toney Douglas.

Duhon we know is crap, Nate refuses to play point, and Larry Hughes cannot be the consistent PG because of his ball handling inefficiencies.

Douglas has the quickness, the handles, and the potential. He did play PG at FSU.

He is the best option right now and its time for D'Antoni to play the best players. That means Hill should be in the starting lineup as well as the center because god knows this team needs defense.

Nate can play PG, he does not want to. I have seen him for short periods of time actually play very well.

But you can see he loathes it, he does not want to be a PG. He's stupid, someone should smack some sense into him, nobody ever made anything of themselves as a 5'9" shooting guard. He'll always be backup's backup.

But if someone is that immature there is nothing anybody can do. The only thing we should do is say goodbye. I don't know why we even resigned him.

Bottom line we needed a point guard or two. That way we have 3 to choose from. Whomever has the hot hand is in and you rotate them. That's what you when you have only mediocre players at a position. You make a situational rotation.

I know Walsh has used the 2010 free agent thing as an excuse for not doing the right thing. I looked, as far as I see there are no really good point guards in FA 2010.

I'm resigned to the fact that 2014 or there abouts is our year once we have a competent GM and head coach.

Yes couldn't agree with you more. But there are going to be ups and downs with rookies like that, they need to be playing period. Look at the Bucks and Jennings now, he's had some miserable moments maybe even more than good ones, but he's getting the pt to constantly develop and maintain his confidence no matter how bad he's playing, and for that he's a special player. Of course he is in a different league than Hill as of this moment, but it seems every other night he goes 2-10 or something like that since his incredible start to the season. Yet Skiles is sticking with him and I think that has and will continue to pay off big time for Jennings and Bucks. Obviously since Hill was picked even earlier than Jennings and was very good in college, theres no reason he shouldn't be afforded the same opportunites that rookies like Jennings have gotten, regardless of some of the bad moments, which I agree were bad.
