Starks Talks Reggie on TKB Radio

Tune in to TKB Radio tonight at 9 PM to talk Knicks with Anthony “Rice Balls” Donahue. As we’ve said, it’s been a great few weeks for the show and Rice has been working to get more big name guests in the coming weeks.

Well, he’s secured John Starks to talk about his past with Reggie Miler.

We’ve been all over “Winning Time” which will be airing this Sunday on ESPN and look forward to chatting with the former Knicks great about his battles with Indiana that are so eloquently documented in Dan Klores’ film. And by “eloquently” I mean you’ll want to punch the TV again.

    Man, of the players whose guts I absolutely hate, Miller is my favorite. I hate him, but I love hating him. It reminds me of when the Knicks were good and competed. When Miller did the push off of Jordan for the game winning shot, in game 4 of the 98 ECF I thought to myself “man, I kinda like him when he’s a splinter under some other team’s fingernail.”

    But I’m not sure if Turandot was the appropriate opera for the video clip though, Reggie and the Knicks ain’t no love story.
