    Where is DWTDD?

  • Mucha

Two of my favorite young players playing tonight.

  • Mucha

The Rooster still shoots too many 3 pointers. His codeine.

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

lee an AL force alot of shots an some other also.

    lee sometimes thinks he’s a point forward…

  • CircleLimit4

One of my all-time onion favorites. Unfortunately it applies to the Knicks as well as the Clips.

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

when t-doug plays aggressive he’s dangerous

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

thats from the creators of the ONION MOVIE?

  • DatNewYorker

    Dear Tommy Dee,
Why the hell would coach Dantoni be starting Duhon over Douglas at this time of the year? I don’t understand and I can’t think of any good reason why he would not start Douglas. He needs every minute of NBA action he can get. Duhon we all know won’t be here next year. We owe Duhon nothing. He was given his chance and he failed. I don’t care how many bad plays Douglas makes now as long as he is learning. Just by him getting to defend Baron Davis and other PG’s like Utah’s Williams, it gives him a learning experience that he will not get sitting on the bench. Just another questionable decision by this so-called coach.

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

i’m watching the game on the clips network
when barron was at the free throw line they had him as MARK BLOUNT that crack me up..

  • starksoakmase

The only reason I can think of starting Duhon is to show vets around the league that the coach will not abandon guys who are loyal to him. I have to think that reputation plays a part in getting the vet role players to come here.

BTW, Lee leads all NBA centers in points and assists.

First impression of Barron, he may have a spot next year on the 15 man roster, who knows.

  • bbrody1

im thinking hes evaluating toney d at the 2 guard – playing with duhon and sergio – and toney d is actually playing really well without the stress of running the offense. it doesnt matter if he starts or not at this point hes getting the same minutes every night especially with his foul problems almost every game

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

at this point of the season seeing AL out of all people.
i would understand if the knicks didn’t have youngs guys to evaluate but it’s sad
don’t even know how to regulate a team at seasons end…sad..

  • bbrody1

“First impression of Barron, he may have a spot next year on the 15 man roster, who knows.”

i agree, he looks aight out there. although it is the clippers… I think its more important watching lee actually play F next to a big center and see how that works, and hes doing well

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

that’s what it looked like to me.

  • starksoakmase

yea, thats why I am cautiously optimistic with Barron.

I have said that Lee would certainly benefit from playing the 4 next to a defensive C. i just don’t think he is worth 12 mil per. Plus, I don’t love Gallo at the 3 spot.

But hey, gallo could always be traded in the offseason. No one is untouchable.

  • CircleLimit4

Yeah, I’ve never seen the movie though.

  • HaS

LMAO so now you want to keep Lee and trade Gallinari?

    Wow. Just, wow.

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

    don’t 4get
THIS IS WORDS FROM DANNI BOY
gotta play the guys thats playing for a new contract……………..

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

well u gotta see it it’s funny.

  • starksoakmase

Bro, where did I say that?

The second paragraph implies that I don’t want to keep Lee because i want gallo at the 4. Keeping Lee would force Gallo to the 3. maybe That wasn’t clear enough, my bad.

having said that, If we could trade Gallo to bring in a real star, like Paul, I would really have to consider that. But that is if we don’t get LBJ or Wade.

Would you include Gallo in a trade for Paul?

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

    lmao@gallo trying to guard b.davis

    lmao..

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

Al had lee an guess what he didn’t pass it

    lmao

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

s.rod will always be a bench player.

  • Mucha

Both teams have been tuuuurrrible offensively down the stretch.

  • Mucha

He’s a scrub but he made a nice pass to Lee a couple minutes ago.

  • LB2NYplz

WE HAVE OUR CENTER OF THE FUTURE……….. EARL BARRON
    lmao

  • Mucha

    Leonardo getting BUCKETS.

  • starksoakmase

Win or lose, i hope someone posts the video of that great John Lucas dance from earlier in the year.

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

    lmao..

  • DVJ

We’re less than 90 days from the shopping spree…..

    Stay Patient My Friends.

  • Anandp1001

Barron looks like a keeper; you can see even from a small sample size that he has decent hands to catch and lay it in, can hit a midrange jumper, and is mobile enough to play some backup C minutes.

Cant believe it took DW this long to take a low risk flyer on a guy with some size to play some 5.

I like that MDA took a look at TD playing off the ball, but that’s not worth benching him… although it was good to see MDA atone for it by still giving TD starters minutes.

Gallo’s shot is not anywhere near the best in the league. He needs to develop some sort of consistency. I hate paul pierce more than anyone, but that guy uses the same form every time he shoots; Gallo needs to continue to work on that 3ball. Also, would have liked to see him kill BDiddy in the post, but that didnt happen. Def encouraged by his growth on O and D this year, and can see him improving in all facets some more.

I think we have to keep Gallo.. trade Chandler. Walker can alleviate the loss of ill will. We can prolly fetch a LOT from a desperate team with Eddy alone, or Eddy with Chandler. I bet the warriors would look at a guy like Chandler; i def can see some potential in a Monta Ellis or Biedrins deal.

  • HaS

“Would you include Gallo in a trade for Paul?”

    HELL YES.

    I’m praying for it.

I wouldn’t trade Gallinari to make room for Lee at the 4 in any scenario.

_avi_ is the bane of my existence.

  • harris

Who is the “desperate team” that will give “a lot” for Eddy Curry alone?

  • LB2NYplz

    what u buyin?

  • HaS

I really hope Duhon, Harrington and Lee are all gone next year.

    I really hate this team.

I’ll have to wait 1 more year for the “coach” to be dismissed.

    Countdown begins July 1st.

  • starksoakmase

i think by “desperate” he means a team who wants to shed payroll because it is not a contender. warriors and Hornets could be on that list.

But Walker is no substitute for Wilson. the guy has barely played in the NBA. Wilson has showed steady improvement from year to year.

There is no way i trade wilson for ellis or Biedris. You only include wilson if you are getting a star player in return. I would however, trade curry for biedris or ellis straight up in a salary dump situation, trow in walker in that deal.

  • starksoakmase

    haha,
Thanx Dawg, that really hit the spot.

  • DVJ

Any team looking for cap space.
Grant it…his contract is not as large and not as coveted as the T-Mac contract but $11.2 million is a lot of money for an owner to save and if you throw in the dollar for dollar ramification from being over the cap..it makes even more sense.

  • starksoakmase

well, if the knicks can get Paul and okafor somehow, and Gallo has to be a part of the deal, then I would want to bring back Lee for 10 mil per. The guy is worth that money.

  • DVJ

    I’m calling it right now.

Wilson Chandler will be a piece of a trade that will bring Rubio to the Knicks. I don’t know when it will be or who else will be involved in the deal but I do know (or should I say think) that he will end up on the Wolves and Rubio will end up on the Knicks.

I also happen to think if the Wolves get the 1st pick in the draft this year and they select Wall (who might not even come out of college) then I think the deal will have more of a chance of happening. Wall, Brewer, Chandler, Love and Jefferson isn’t bad at all. The coach would have to ditch the triangle offense with that line up.

  • starksoakmase

honestly, I don’t think I would trade Chandler for anything other then a proven player. Rubio is a gamble. DW would look might dumb if he does that deal and Rubio is a dud.

And there is no chance Wall doesn’t come out after what happened to that kid on West V.

  • harris

    Interesting.

I was thinking the Knicks might look to buy him out. Sounds like your scenario might be the better way to go though.

  • DVJ

    Jordan Hill last 5 games:

    15 points 3 rebounds 0 blocks in 18 minutes
    9 points 9 rebounds 3 blocks in 27 minutes
    4 points 3 rebounds 0 blocks in 19 minutes
    10 points 5 rebounds 0 blocks in 20 minutes
    8 points 6 rebounds 0 blocks in 26 minutes

  • DVJ

But we all already know that Rubio isn’t a dud.

What happened to Butler was sad. I really feel for the kid,

  • starksoakmase

How do we know that? the guy has never played in the NBA. From what I hear he can’t shot and isn’t that quick. PG’s like that dont make it here.

  • starksoakmase

Bro, that contract is an asset. thats why i was against the JJ trade. teams want expiring deals in exchange for long term contracts.

The Rockets got a good player in Kevin Martin for T-mac’s expiring contract.

  • bob go knicks

Rubio will never play for the KNICKS

  • Mucha

    So what.

  • DVJ

First of all…I don’t want to make it seem like he would come in and have a Lebron James type impact but I think if he were to come to the league he would be instantly in the top 10 pg’s in the league. That’s just my opinion….his defense is crazy. I think he has like 2 defensive player of the year awards including this past year. His passing is off the charts and he plays much older than he is.
There’s a reason why he was the 2nd top prospect in this past pg dominated draft.

  • Mucha

Ricky Rubio is a high-risk high-reward type of player – he could be an All-Star or the next Sergio Rodriguez.

  • DVJ

Just keeping people posted so when we use that extra salary money, we can decide if the move was worth it.
Now, I know we have to wait a couple years to see how Hill fills out but we can always keep tabs on him since some people always bitch and complain about the “3 picks” we gave up.

  • onemoretime

If i’m trading Chandler i want someone like the kid Collison from N.O. Rubio hasn’t proven squat. I’m not willing to trust these over-hyped Euro players.

  • Mucha

    LMAO CLASSIC.

  • starksoakmase

Do you think e is worth giving up Wilson straight up?

    I say no.

  • starksoakmase

i would do that trade tomorrow, but it ain’t gonna happen. But, maybe we can put together a package for Paul. NO is a team that is no longer a contender and may be looking to dump salary.

  • Mucha

    I think Ricky Rubio’s overhyped.

But I love Jrue Holiday – I think he will be a top 10 PG in this league. I really like this kid. Too bad the Knicks didn’t draft (+keep! lol) him

  • Mucha

    I don’t know. I really don’t.

Tomorrow I might say yes. The day after I might say now.

  • Mucha

    *no

  • starksoakmase

Honestly, i’ve never seen him play a game (only highlights).

  • jgilch82

the only reason i think RUBIO is good is because NBA studs with HUGE EGOs who played against him w team USA came out and said outright publicly that this kid can play ball …
    aside from that who knows

  • x-man

Yo playa, if our knicks go .500 for the next 6 games, you’re a genius. How many times in your life have you heard those words?

I wouldn’t bank on it though because we might win 1 0r 2 games at most.

  • x-man

Come on dude, say it like you mean it! lol Another year?

The only pleasure in that is watching and hearing this coach get booed relentless. I’d rather for us to be moving forward instead!

  • HaS

Nah, I want no part of Lee in any scenario. He disgusts me, I want to forget he was ever part of the Knick organization.

  • HaS

Defensive player of the year awards… in Europe? I think it’s laughable that they even have an award for that.

    LOL

  • HaS

Blowing with the wind… from Donnie’s mouth.
