Anything else to say other than Danny Granger?…

    Recap:

    Knicks suck.

Let’s just forfeit the last 4 games of the season.

  • Anandp1001

as well as Gallo has done against elite players defensively lately, this was 1 that stook in stark contrast (this in addition to Brandon Roy and Ginobili)

oh well. TD is gettin good experience and a FA has got to like the idea of playing with TD and Gallo, who look like they could flourish off a guy who can get em open 3s. Sadly, TMac couldnt give the FAs a good preview, even in spurts.

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

    missed the game.
but i see earl B had 15 with 9 an doug did his thing..

i think danni boy will try an make t-doug into barbosa…

  • x-man

Didn’t miss much. Both teams played no defense and our coach sucked as usual!

  • x-man

DVJ, Unless our Knicks play .500 ball the next 4 games, you’re genius title is in serious jeopardy! You’re feeling lucky?

  • Knicks4life

Douglas isn’t even starting anymore. You really think a FA is going to say “let me leave my championship contender to play with the guy who plays behind Chris Duhon”. Ugh!

  • harris

And ruin the suspense of whether our heroes can bag 30 wins this year? No way!

  • J_Starks3

Everytime Kenny Albert calls one of our games we play bad.

I don’t know if this is true or am I trying to find someone else to blame other that “the guy with a mustache on the sidelines”.

  • PipeDreamin

stop it. stop POTENTIALLY calling DVJ a genius. The guy predicted 30 wins this season when we had what? 15 games left in the season 25 wins? that isnt exactly betting against the house.

I hope we win he next 4 and go out with a little pride. i dont care about DVJ. I care about the Knicks.

  • DVJ

    I love it

Only 4 more games and our franchise starts the complete makeover.

Hey…did anyone else spit out their food when they heard Al was out for the season? I was so happy that I grabbed my girl and started to…………TMI

Let all the negativity out the bag now because once these 4 games are over, you won’t be able to say anything next year about our coach, record, players, management and heaven forbid….our owner. It’s time to bring the glory days back to the Garden!!

  • DVJ

I care about all my fellow Knicks fans.

  • http://dagawdknowledge.blogspot.com/ DaGawD_KnowLedge

    thats real talk.
how bout if it’s a big DUHON FAN on the low.lol.

  • DVJ

I can only imagine what will happen if we sign a true max player this summer….check this out.

“It doesn’t take much creative license to see that Dolan isn’t spending nearly $1 billion because he wants the paying customers to be more comfortable. In addition to perks like widened concourses, windows opening up to city views, and better sightlines from both the upper and lower bowls, the transformation of the Garden will include something never before attempted — something that will solidify it as the proper playpen for the sport’s biggest star, should he choose to embrace it. The building will feature 20 court-level suites the size of Manhattan apartments — and with a similar price tag. Each will have a living room and a fireplace and access to courtside seats, with the expected price to exceed $1 million for a year’s worth of Garden events. “

  • ds2488

Wow did anyone see Tmac’s postgame interview. Pretty awkward.
He said “I really don’t care how Im playing now…The only thing I care about is my health” and basically came out and said he couldn’t care less about what he’s doing on the court because these games don’t matter. Really weird…Im not even sure he meant it as badly as it sounds, it may be kind of harmless just trying to say he knew he wouldn’t be capable of playing well, but its still just weird that he would come out and say that. He should probably choose his words more carefully from now on.

  • italian stallion

    T-MAC is done.

He was in a steep decline before surgery and now he’s older and post surgery. He can talk all he wants about being healthy and next year, but his days as an NBA starter are over.

  • DVJ

    Yeah T-Mac is a wrapparoni….

  • TrentMotherTucker

He should be called Tracy since he stopped being T-Mac a while ago.

  • http://facebook.com/willhanza Will H

    T-Mac won’t be back.

That first game was exciting, and he stuck it to the Rockets a bit and that was it.

Barron- Like what I see and maybe resign him on the cheap, but he’s an end of the bench guy on any decent team.

I am definitely concerned about the PG position, since there are no good FAs in that department. I would give up just about anyone to the Hornets to get CP3. I’d take on Okafur’s contract, too, since we need a shot blocker, anyway. So pull a trade off using Eddy Curry’s contract and save the Hornets a ton of cash. Maybe need to also use Lee in a sign and trade, if necessary in order to also get a top notch FA (If not Lebron, then J. Johnson?). Maybe pick up Camby if there is money leftover.

starters: CP3, Joe Johnson (preferably Lebron, but), Gallo, Okafur, Camby

rotation bench: T Doug, W. Chandler, B. Walker

end of Bench: Earl Barron and … who cares? Patrick Ewing Jr, for fun? Me? You? Tommy?

  • ARNY

Yea man pat Jr ! wats sup with him… ? we is he playing ?

  • jgilch82

Were getting there guys.. closer to y2james

  • x-man

LOL Come on PipeDreamin, DVJ is so far out there on a limb that Shirley MacLaine is is dialing 911. I’m only trying to give him some encouragement so he don’t fall on the kids below!

  • x-man

I’m with ya on CP3 but I wouldn’t go after Joe Johnson. Spend the money on a legit Superstar. I would wait for Anthony before I blow the money on Joe Johnson.

  • Knicks4life

You ae such a strange bird. You defend Donnie and D’Antoni no matter what but you cheer Harrington’s season ending injury. . .I thought you played competitive sports? Because if you did, you would never cheer an injury to another player.

  • Knicks4life

“I would give up just about anyone to the Hornets to get CP3.”

    Just about anyone?

  • Knicks4life

4 games to go. . .This season has been such a disappointment:

    (1) Lee’s defense has actually regressed (if that is possible)

    (2) Duhon did not bounce back from a terrible second half last season

    (3) Gallo has been woefully inconsistent

    (4) Chandler got hurt . . .again

    (5) Eddy Curry

    (6) TMac expirement was a flop

    (7) Sergio was not the answer at the PG

    (8) Douglas is not a PG

    (9) Hill was not developed/used properly

    (10) We traded away all of our draft picks rather than trying to actually rebuild

    (10) Again we failed to draft a PG (what are we the Hawks)

    (11) We traded Nate and got nothing of consequence back

    (12) The team was not competitive this year and likely won’t win 30 games.

I honestly see no hope for optimism. We better sign someone this summer who can seriously carry this franchise on his back for the next five years.

  • Knicks4life

    Yes i know, two tens.

  • J_Starks3

Assessing your assesment of the Knicks:

    1. I agree
    2. I didn’t expect Duhon to bounce back.
    3. I agree……along with him still deferring to vets.
    4. I agree
    5. Now let’s see what we can get for him.
    6. I didn’t have high expectations for him.
    7. His sample to judge him on that is too small plus he is what? 23?
    8. This we knew because of his 4 yrs as a SG.
    9. 100% AGREE
    10. Donnie has to know something we don’t know because he doesn’t strike me as a gambling man. I think he has a scoop on who is coming………stay tuned.
    10. Biggest knock on Donnie in my opinion.
    11. This was expected since he didn’t get one single offer last summer.
    12. I must admit I was one who was drinking the kool aid because of one year of this group being together and the weak eastern conf.

You forgot the biggest negate of all. The coach again this year showed no intension of establishing a decent defensive mind set for this group to compete (and when I say compete I mean win a championship not this 50 win non sense). Unless LBJ comes this coach has one year to put up or shut up.

  • harris

    Other than that, everything’s great.

  • LBJ2010

You honestly don’t see even a sliver of “hope for optimism” when we are under the cap (by $33M) for the first time in 15 years? Come on. I understand this season has been frustrating, but is there really so much harm in waiting a few more months to see what happens before making such declarative statements? If Donnie fails, by all means, rip the org. to shreds. But, the possibility of landing a franchise player this summer, either by FA or trade, is real, and IMO, cause for hope.

  • Knicks4life

“This season has been such a disappointment . . .I honestly see no hope for optimism. We better sign someone this summer who can seriously carry this franchise on his back for the next five years.”

Maybe I wasn’t clear. This season has been a disappointment. Based on our current roster and previous moves I see no hope or room for optimism. Therefore, it is mandatory that we sign a player who can carry a franchise on his back (LBJ, Wade, maybe Bosh) otherwise we are in serious trouble for the next five years.

We must be the only fan base in the world that can lose all of these games but be this optimistic. We could have gone 1-81 and people would still be talking about what a great job Donnie and D”Antoni did.

  • LBJ2010

“We must be the only fan base in the world that can lose all of these games but be this optimistic. We could have gone 1-81 and people would still be talking about what a great job Donnie and D”Antoni did.”

Nowhere have I said that D’Antoni has done a good job. Donnie has executed half of his plan, but still needs to seal the deal. I don’t understand why you have to overdramatize other people’s opinions all the time, especially when you’re replying to commenters who don’t even share those opinions.

  • Knicks4life

That was a general comment about the optimism at TKB. The fact that you thought it was directed at you, well . . .

  • Mal

I didnt see it but T-Mac is one of those guys you do not want the microphone around too long he can be brutally honest or say too much.

He took a beating one year for what was viewed as whining vs Utah after a loss and not coming through in the end, this said not completely accurate but something like this “I was tired and you had a fresh 6″10 Kirlenlko (sp) on me yada yada”

I still like T-Mac but man he starting to look DONE but we wont know until after the summer and he must take vets mini to stay here

  • bob go knicks

    did you inflate her yourself?
