Via Zagsblog:

“…“You’re playing in the Ivy League with Ryan Wittman, Jeremy Lin, Louis Dale. It’s a different caliber of player than LeBron and Dirk. It would be exciting.”

Foote and 6-9 Keith “Tiny” Gallon, who left Oklahoma after his freshman season amid an NCAA investigation, worked out against one another Thursday at the Knicks’ facility here.

“I got to go against a guy like big Tiny over here,” Foote, a native of Lockwood, N.Y., said of the workout. “It’s nice because we don’t get those guys in the Ivy League very much so it’s a different level of player and it’s a lot of fun.”

Foote averaged 12.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.9 blocks while helping Cornell reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament before falling to John Wall and Kentucky. Wall is projected as the No. 1 overall pick.

The Knicks have no first-round pick in the June 24 NBA Draft but pick back-to-back at 38 and 39 in the second round. Regardless of what free agents they attract, they desperately need a center. more…”

An interview with 50 Cent and his thoughts on LeBron (this is why I said he wouldn’t sign an extension regardless of whether he planned to stay or not, his name will be on everyone lips *pause* until he signs somewhere):

I was on http://www.thisis50.com and I don’t know how much involvement you have in your site but I noticed the “Please Stay LeBron” video on there and wanted to know your thoughts on the whole situation. Do you want him to come to New York?

I hope he do come to New York. Shit, it aint worth watchin’ the Knicks at all. Don’t worry, [Cleveland] can come to New York and watch him. For LeBron himself, you know what that does for him going to New York City? As far as a media platform, he’s going to turn into King Kong out there. If they get the right support around him, it’ll be a great move. But, I’m sure they’ll make the right decisions for him pertaining to that. That’s why they’re even entertaining the idea. Think about it… Why would you go to New York? Aint nobody there. It would create so much of a buzz. I know I would be going to see him. They will be watching every move that he makes but when you do well and they’re watching, it’s great. There’s definitely some pros and some cons.

I can’t wait until all this is over.

i see foote as someone the knicks workout and like but dont draft bc theyre too similar to someone more known/followed/pollished, then sign them undrafted to a one year deal as an extended try out – which i think is a good move with someone of the talent thats out there that could go undrafted

The Knicks need to bring in twenty 7 foot centers and work them out. I don’t won’t anymore power forwards playing the 5 spot. If D’Antoni continues to play small he should be shown the door. You can see what the SUNS are doing now with a smarter and defensive minded coach. No D’Antoni supporter including Tommy Dee can tell me that D’Antoni would have even been playing Lopez right now. If D’Antoni was coaching now they would either be swept or it would have ended in five. To be honest D’Antoni would of not have gotten past The Spurs.
