Well, I would hope Lebron would be checking up on the Knicks. If he was really thinking about coming here at all, he would definitely be “inquiring”. But other than that, I don’t think it really means anything.

  • itzyung1

Hey We are on his mind. If a Draft Night Trade happens that betters our team who knows what Lebron might be thinking then.

  • itzyung1

Wow. I just listened to the whole interview and I must say I will be more surprised if Lebron didn’t come to the Knicks now.

  • HaS

I think the “inquiring” about whether he can trust Walsh and _’antoni is a little troubling, not in the case of Walsh but _’antoni. The “coach” has rubbed many a person the wrong way and he seems very untrustworthy. It seems like he’s heard a few disparaging things so he wants to find some more positive things before making his decision. He’s definitely interested though which is a good sign, but if he digs too far (Dolan) he may not like what he finds.

He may have to go against the advice he receives.

  • HaS

Monta Ellis + _’antoni = Eddie House 2.0

  • itzyung1

You heard Stephen A. Lebron’s mainly doing it because of the rep people like Q Rich, Marbury, Larry Brown are putting out there about The Knicks (Mike, Dolan and Donnie).

  • traps9

    LeBron James
    Richard Hamilton
    Danilo Gallinari
    Chris Bosh
    Shaquille O’Neal

    Toney Douglas
    Bill Walker
    Al Harrington

I really could not imagine that lineup. But the Shaq talk from Stephen A. is incredibly interesting with the report yesterday that D’A was behind the Shaq trade with Sarver; that it was Kerr who needed convincing. Adding Rip here is just my own thing. Curry/Chandler for Hamilton is actually a fair trade for both, IMO.

  • BiggieSmalls

nice find.. the “inquiry” is interesting..

Band wagon leaving in 12 days.

  • bigblue973

If shaq could lose just a lil bit of weight i would actually take him and play him for certain streches, steven a is right he is better than anything we have now, and with bosh gallo and lebron that is plenty of offense, Not a bad idea for the vet min imagine if we traded for parker, then have lebron, gallo bosh and shaq that line up can win, and when we play more athletic teams move shaq to the bench and let bosh or who eva the back up cetner is play more mins at center

  • Rene

Now that we know Lebron is coming my next questions is who is Lebron picking for a running mate and I hope it’s D.Lee.Plus where as we get Bosh and done.I think Lee would be great with Lebron and cheaper affording us more assets.

  • Brad Lohaus 54

we’ve had Lee. Mr. 50 loss season. no thanks

  • Dylan

Teams would have a ton of trouble defending the Knicks size. Each player would be above the average height for their position. That team would definitely be the best in the East. Why the hell would we resign Harrington though? I wouldn’t take him back if he played for free.

  • Dylan

Lee would be cheaper because he isn’t anywhere close to Bosh in terms of talent. No way LeBron would choose Lee over Bosh. No way I would choose Lee over Bosh. Defense wins championships, and Lee doesn’t play ANY defense.

  • Namifi

LMAO, that’s ok, true fans know and can identify the wagon jumpers!

  • jlefev1

I sort of think this a big deal.. Steven A Smith has been in the business for a long time so im assuming his sources have some credibility.. The fact that he is schedule to meet with the Knicks first has to be a good sign.. Lebron is realizing that the Knicks can provide the total package… A chance to win multiple titles, in the greatest sports city in the world, on the biggest stage and also can provide him with the bright light lifestyle that he desperately wants to be a part of.. The one thing i was unsure about is how would we be able to sign shaq for anything more then the vets min if we brought lebron and bosh..

Douglas, Lebron, Rooster, Bosh and Shaq for opening night ? thoughts on that

  • HaS

What exactly would be “getting on the bandwagon”?

  • HaS

    Don’t forget Oakley and Ewing.

  • barnaby8787

Shaq is useless. If LBJ comes to NY, let him bring big z with him b/c at least Z can shoot and move better than shaq.

  • Namifi

A fair-weather fan, Did you support them in good times and bad? Were you fan when they were terrible, or are you now a fan because it looks like they will be a winning, star studded contender for a championship!
