Tune into TKB Radio tonight at 9 PM with Anthony “Rice Balls” Donahue and special guest Toney Douglas. The draft is tomorrow and a lot of rumors are circulating. A year ago, Toney Douglas was one of the college prospects anxiously waiting to hear their name be called by an NBA team. The Knicks acquired Douglas then, so will Donnie Walsh try to do the same this year? All of that draft talk and your awesome phone calls.

IF Walsh is sooo freaking confident that he can get a first round pick whats the hold up. It seems all these other teams are making trades and getting picks but all we have if the RUmor Mill. This draft might say A Lot about what the knicks have top offer. Many teams have money to buy first round selections that means players are going to have to be involved to sweeten the pot. The question is do the knicks have the assets (players) to match other teams offers. So far we have not even been able to get Rudy for Chandler who is probably our most valuable asset.

I Hope this stupid Hobson thing is Smoke screen. Draft Express does not even have him sniffing at the first round. I know these sites are not always accurate but they dont even have him in the bottom of the first. If the knicks trade into the first round for him it would be yet another reach. The Knicks always reach on players just like Ronaldo Balkman. Balkman would have been a good selection but not in the teens in the late first to second round. Tts possible other teams don’t even want Hobson and are just playing the knicks for the fools they are. People are talking about the guy like he is so amazing. Is that so then why are other SF going ahead of him like George, Hayward, Jones, Babbitt, and Henry. Why has Hobson not Exploded up the draft boards. This all seems like a lot of hype for a guy with average athletic ability. The guy may be worth it but I say wait till the second round and if you don’t get him you can find another role play SF. Like Nemanja Bjelica. THis guy has just as average athletic ability and is just as versitle with potential. Knicks need to stop reaching on players.
