I hope this guy is gone REAL SOON!!! He comes across an overall good guy with good stats (basically an all-star) but I can not embrace his style of defense or lack there off. This guy will allow my grandma to shimmy down the lane for an easy layup. This guy is unbelievable. I hope he finally gets his big payday. With him playing the center the Knicks don’t have a chance.

gallinari is our guy. he is the one guy for the last decade that we have all been extremley excited about. the fans love him. dont trade gallo.

Lee and Amare can not play on the same team. They both play the same position. I’m not sure if I would rather have Lee at 10 mil or Amare at 16 mil. Its a close call.

By the way according to Tommy, the Knicks are trying to unload Curry and Chandler. If they are successful, wouldn’t the Knicks be the only team that could afford 3 maxes? I think we would even have a little cap room left over, plus the trade exception from Hill.

chandler curry = under 14 million…. VERY close to getting three max guys. im pretty sure chandler curry douglas almost 100 percent does it or at the minimum is extremley close.

Johnson would help bring LeBron to the Knicks. Do you really think that Joe Johnson wouldn’t entice LeBron more than Gallo? Come on… I like Gallo, but Knicks fans overrate him. He is a solid starter, but Johnson is a star.

I love Gallo…. sky is the limit for him.

I prefer D Lee to Amare anyday of the week. How does Amare not avg at least 10 rebounds per game?

I’d be ok with Boozer too, but Lee will likely cost 3-5 million less per. That’s enough to get another quality rotation player – Ridnour, Childress, etc.

Knicks have to get a true center – a shotblocker – to make D Lee worth resigning. Lee at the 5 is nonsense.

Gallo is an All-Star this year. Book his flight.

Honestly, I really am not worried about signing a superstar this summer because we have one in Gallo. We need pieces around him – a vet SG who can create his own shot, a defensive C, and a playmaking PG.

on top of that, these clowns are injured half the times, Lee hardly ever misses a game. and is cheaper.

Lee has improved every year! would it surprised anybody if he has even a better year next year. wouldn’t surprise me.

If we keep lee’ s birds right it is possible to sign a center (T.chandler, haywood) and still sign a max FA.

BTW , does anyone realize that the max for Amare or Johnson is OVER 19M. (19.6 TO BE EXACT).

Agreed. Had the guy not been playing out of position these last couple of years I think people would appreciate a guy who can average a double-double and really pass the ball. He’s competitive, smart,and is now working on his 3 point ball. In my opinion, Lee + Tyson Chandler (if he’s healthy) is a way better option than Amare Stoudemire.

Are y’all kidding me? Keep Lee he is better than Amare, or Bosh? He can come cheaper than any of them or the funniest one yet he is better than all the free agent fwds? What Knick flavored Kool Aid was y’all drinking? First of all he wants the most money maybe even the max because his agent is gonna push all the doubles doubles and big scoring rebounding games he had last year. So he is not coming cheap. Second of all he never and I repeat never impacts a game like Amare or Bosh does. Lee ain’t even the face of the Knicks and he is definitely not a draw. In Has own word play avi Lee can’t guard a lamp post. Its a layup line. So tell me what’s the reason why we should keep Lee. What part of his game impacts any of the Knicks games? 1. Lee don’t play defense… did ya’ll realize that the greatest knick wasn’t good at defending at all ( just in case y’all don’t know who I’m talking about Ewing )
2. Its a lay up line or he doesn’t take charges would that make us win games being that he was our best offensive player period add gallo chandler harrington all of them had good games here and there but letta gave numbers everynight and it was bad shots. Don’t blame lee for players not locking players down or cutting players off before they even get that far. If lee keeps stepping up his game every and only takes 12 mil I’m happy with that because he is equal then boozer, amare, bosh , (offensive) he cant guard them but they cant guard him either and anybody who says other wise don’t watch the game they play live and 2k and goes off names
