I want the knicks to make a run at Shaun Livingston. Dude has all the skill and tools in the world to be a star but has had horrible health issues with his legs. This year he finally got healthy and looked great. I’d love him as our pg.

I also want them to make a run at Brendan Haywood to play C.

    PG-Shaun Livingston
    SG-Joe Johnson
    SF-Lebron James
    PF-Amare Stoudemire
    C-Brendan Haywood

    Whose-Your-Moma…..Championship!

I would like them to get the ghost of Pistol Pete at the point, Batman at the 4, and Big Bird at center spot.

    PG-Ghost of Pistol Pete
    SG-Joe Johnson
    SF-Lebron James
    PF-Batman
    C-Big Bird

    Chala!!

Good Interview! Glad your still High on Lebron Coming to the Knicks!

I agree with some of your statements put not all!

Agree Lebron will be Point Guard

Disagree about one of the PF’s coming with him- (only one might be Lee)

I asked this question Before- What Position does Gallo Play? More Importantly- What Position does he Defend?
I believe he is our Stretch Starting PF. He needs to get stronger, and that should come as he ages.

Believe our target like people have been reporting is SG – Joe Johnson to pair with SF/PG Lebron James!

Starting Lineup- PG- Lebron, SG- Joe Johnson, SF- Chandler, PF- Gallo, and at Center- Earl Barron

Our Pitch to Lebron is 2 great 3 point shooters will be on the floor with u at all times for spacing- lanes for u to penetrate- if help comes- pass the ball off to our great shooters to knock down outside shots! Starting lineup has Johnson 37% and Gallo 38%. Our bench is made up of great 3pt. shooters too- Walker 43%, Douglas 39%, Landry Fields final 3 year ave. was 35.3%, Andy Rautins final 3 year ave. was 37.6%.

I am also very high on the Rookie center we drafted- Jerome Jordan- he was on my wish list before the draft! He is a shot blocker, true 7 footer, athletic, has a nice hook shot, and can knock down the mid range shot.

I believe we will have a very diverse roster, meaning a lot of players can play multiple positions – allowing for easy in game adjustments. We can have multiple people handling the ball- Lebron, Johnson, and Douglas. If at one point during the game Gallo is having trouble defending the opposing PF- we can go big with both of our Centers in their and still move Gallo to SF, Johnson as SG, and Lebron at PG. If Lebron, Johnson or Chandler is having trouble guarding the opposing PG, we can put Douglas in and take out either Gallo or Chandler. If Chandler comes out, then we would have 3 great shooters on the floor- Douglas, Johnson, Gallo- if Gallo comes out- then we still have 2 in Douglas and Johnson. Chandler and Lebron both can defend PF too! Bottom line is- their will be lots of different lineups out their that should be very successful!

We also have Curry’s expiring so we can upgrade the team more next year. But i truly believe if we get Joe Johnson and Lebron and keep everyone we have- we will be championship contenders from day one!

I love all of the bandwagon and delusional knicks fans on this blog these days…

  • gianthinker

If it wasn’t for delusions we’d have to practice in reality and delusions are much more fun.

  • dino2008

are people serious with the earl barron crap. he is a backup at best.

  • grahambo86

Richard Jefferson just opted out his contract…ummm..huh?

  • brookdon

Has anyone thought of the possibility that Richard Jefferson didn’t want to be in San Antonio? It’s not ALL about the money. Anyway this gives the knicks leverage in a Toney Parker deal. The Spurs need a young small forward aka Wilson Chandler.

Dino2008 – Would u agree that Kendrick Perkins is a good center? Not all star caliber, but good average NBA center! Do u know what Perkins #’s were for last year? Perkins- 10 pts. with 8 rebs.
Earl Barron in 7 games- 12pts. with 11 rebs. – Small sample- but he got my attention. He can hit the mid range shot pretty consistently which is good for spacing and we know MD needs that spacing.

  • scarfacebaj19

Dino- Perkins averaged 7points and 6 rebounds when the Celtics won the title a couple years ago! If Barron can ave 12 pts with 11 rebs he will be considered an ave. center! And that will be better than what we have had in year!

  • scarfacebaj19

Elite Centers in the NBA- average 14+ points with 9+ rebounds:
Al Horford, Yao Ming, Chris Kaman, Marc Gasol, Pau Gasol, Brook Lopez, Andrew Bogut, Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan,

30 teams in the league and these are the 9 best centers!

Everyone else that plays center is below my 14 point and 9 rebound standard. Earl Barron Averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds in the few games he played for the Knicks this past season- that puts him just below my Elite Center’s criteria due to being 2 points below my 14 point criteria. I know he only played like 7 games, but he showed me enough and these stats prove it- he should be given a chance to start; and I doubt we find someone better out in Free Agency!
