It’s the night before free agency, possibly the most important time period in Knicks history. In the words of Donnie Walsh, it’ll shape the course of the franchise for the next ten years. Obviously there’s a lot to discuss, and let’s do it with Anthony “Rice Balls” Donahue tonight at 9 PM on TKB Radio. Call in and give your thoughts, your ideas, your plan A, B and so on, because it starts at 12, when the Knicks meet with Joe Johnson.

    Breaking News:
    Richard Jefferson opt out on 15m contract with the spurs.

    What a damn idiot. Why couldn’t Eddy Curry be so dumb?

  • DatNewYorker

    no one will offer richard Jefferson no more than the Vet min. So he will have to play three years to make what he could make in one. Stupid is and stupid does. Why have to make sure Eddy Curry gets the same Agent.

    theres more with the knicks on the colbert report tonight
    11:30 on comedy central

  • gianthinker

    Jefferson can play but opting out of that contract was dumb money wise. Maybe he’s a player that truly wants to win and sees the Spurs as a sinking ship. Crazy he left that money behind.

  • gianthinker

    I’d take Jefferson in NY for the minimum. But only for the minimum.

    Not sure if this was already posted in the past…but does anyone else think this could be a small part of the reason espn continues to hate on the Knicks? There is clearly some bad blood between Dolan and espn’s parent company. Either way, we can add it to the other conspiracy theories. lol

    @moose22

    Absolutely I think there is something to do that….I mean they go out of their way to not even mention the Knicks and to take it a step forward they mention the Nets when it comes to the NYC metro area….however everyone seems to forget that not only can the Knicks get two max players this year but 1 also next year while Chi-Town and the queers in South Beach cant. Of course unless a trade happens, talking about right now..
