The Wrath of Kahn
As you’ve heard me say once or twice, I have no idea what the deal is with or what to think of David Kahn. Pretty much every
move he’s made has been baffling. Even off the court. He angered a potential franchise point guard in Jonny Flynn by taking another talented PG prospect immediately after. Flynn hadn’t even had his hat adjusted correctly before having to worry about his position.
Michael Beasley? Darko?
Then they sign Ramon Sessions only to trade him, along with Ryan Hollins and a second round pick for Sebastian Telfair, a player they had last year but traded him in a package for Quentin Richardson who they ultimately traded for Mark Blount. The list of moves last year was maddening.
Someone may also want to explain how, as a small market team, you trade Luke Babbitt and an expiring contract in Ryan Gomes for a bench player who’s guaranteed $10 million over the next two years when they could have drafted Avery Bradley or James Anderson?
