Thiobodeau also said Larry Johnson had been interested in becoming a Bulls assistant, but that’s no longer a possibility.

Maybe the Knicks can hire one of the greatest college players of the past 2 decades as a consultant.

  • bklyn ton

Maybe he could work with some of the young guys.

  • grahambo86

I know the Mets could use him to show them some toughness.

It’s to judge an assistant coach but how would some of you grade Herb Williams’ job?

  • bartnyk

    Get it done Isiah !!!!!

  • http://www.youtube.com/tharealest62qb DaGawD_KnowLedge

that all fell apart when LARRY declined to be dressed up as GRAN MAMA

  • knicksallday

Nothing against Herb, but I think LJ can REALLY show a guy how to get position in the low post and use his skills… SORRY herb but you did not exactly put it on people!!!!

    I’m saying!!!

  • http://www.youtube.com/tharealest62qb DaGawD_KnowLedge

the knicks need to give HERB another position in the franchise HERB hasn’t been cuttin it

  • Bloop33

  • Bloop33

  • bartnyk

I shouldn’t even joke like that.

  • BigTyme

We need Oakley! Herb belongs in the front office!

  • bb_dot

off topic, but has anyone read this? I hope its a joke. But with the IT news, nothing would surprise me..

“Veteran NBA columnist Marc J. Spears Tweeted this morning that the New York Knicks have interest in re-acquiring Jared Jeffries, a player the Rockets would move for the right price. Jeffries, Trevor Ariza, Shane Battier and Jordan Hill could all be had for the right piece. The issue with the latest New York rumor is that, according to Spears, the Knicks are dangling Eddy Curry as bait in the trade.”

  • Mal

It seems like none of the old Knicks get considered for bench jobs except Herb who was in place before D’Antoni’s crew.

Hey how are you guys feeling the Roger Mason trade? Honestly I wasnt too hyped about him nor the possibility of getting Shannon Brown. Before he got signed did Rasul Butler want too much money? Really wasnt hyped on him either BUT whats out there..TMac (who I dont mind at vet minny)Morris Almond

  • harris

What’s so surprising about this? This is the franchise that brought Isiah Thomas back. Why not Jared Jeffries? For that matter, what are Shandon Anderson and Howard Eisley up to these days?

  • http://www.youtube.com/tharealest62qb DaGawD_KnowLedge

    lmao..

  • harris

THIS JUST IN!!!! The New York Mets have announced that they have signed Art Howe to serve in the role as “consultant”. The venerable former manager was quoted today as being “thrilled” to join forces with Freddie Skill Sets, Paris Wilpon, Omar Goodbya and Chuckles Manuel in an effort to bring a championship back to Queens.

    Take that Knickerbockers!

  • Starksfor3

With Jim Dolan, you REALLY have to screw up to get canned. Isiah brought the team to its knees with his appalling management and coaching, and then shamed the Garden with the sexual harassment suit. I wish Guitar Jimmy was my boss, too.

  • bb_dot

as I say “nothing would surprise me”. And yet it seems particularly ridiculous to use Curry’s contract to “net” Jeffries…LOL

  • k-hodge

Wow..I always thought it was just me that thought that..LOL

  • Joe-V

    LOL!

Please someone help the METS!!! HAHAHAHAHA
