Talk about a manufactored story. A western conference GM aparently sarcastically says “I bet DWill rumors will start flying next” and then becomes an ESPN story and a post here to spark a Williams debate?

But the most important piece of that story to me was that Melo is not on the market right now. Which is what I’ve been thinking for months. It makes no sense for Denver to trade him unless they are getting multiple draft picks and a proven all-star. They won’t lose Melo for nothing, wherever he goes that team will do a sign and trade and likely give up draft picks because Melo will want the most money possible.

I think CP3 is slightly better but the numbers don’t tell the story with D Will. His Utah’s teams have been consistently very good to great and outside of Boozer (who is always hurt) he wasn’t exactly playing with a stellar cast.

He is playing for one of the greatest coaches to ever teach the game though.

I can’t say he’s a better player than Paul, but I just love the idea of him being a Knick..more than I love the idea of CP3 becoming a Knick.

yeah, I liked that article too. All I want is to see these guys come out and play with some urgency. I have grown so wary of all the pre-season talk over the past years claiming how good this or that player works out and how the team believes that they will be so much better this year. Dwill is unhappy…he has been on my radar…..guards his size play at high level for many years…..ala kidd and nash…i respect his game and he should leave Utah if he plans on making a finals trip in his career.
